Always remember where your journey began!
This is where I realized how regions and roots can differ in your thought process. Yes, I am from the northern part of India, but I was amazed when I travelled to the southern part of India and found out how diverse we are.
Let's start by worshipping God. In the north, we always celebrate God. Most people keep Lord Krishna's idol at home and treat the idol like a family member. But it's the opposite in South India. Everyone is so calm and composed, and they worship God like a supreme power with the same calmness.
Culture definitely impacts your nature and genes. And trust me, both parts of India have many misconceptions about each other. Being a #Punjabi, I realized people in the South think, we are carrying awards and killing people on small matters, but nothing like that.
Same in North India, people trust what movies show us that people in the South are violent and fight over everything with each other. But that's completely a "wrong narrative."
South culture is deeply diverse, and so are the people. They are calm and helpful, and yes, food is also just a blessing.
What I learned from this?????
Well, I learned that you should connect to your roots and only judge other cultures if you know them personally. Get experiences and then decide what you like and what you don't. Diversity is everywhere, and we can learn a lot from each other.
Have you also experienced something like this??? Let me know in the comments section.
