Position Overview:
We seek a talented and experienced Operation Supervisor to join our HR team.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
* Supervise and guide a team of warehouse associates, material handlers, and other operational staff.
* Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure that operational activities are carried out efficiently and by company policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee development initiatives.
2. Operational Oversight:
* Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and quality control inspections.
* Implement operational best practices to optimize workflow, minimize errors, and maximize productivity.
3. Safety and Compliance:
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
* Conduct safety training sessions, promote a culture of safety awareness, and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
* Maintain facility cleanliness and organization to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
4. Customer Service:
* Collaborate with customer service teams to prioritize and fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to operations, delivery schedules, and product availability.
* Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and implement process improvements to meet or exceed customer expectations.
5. Process Improvement:
* Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operational processes and develop solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
* Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies, systems, and tools to support operational excellence.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and logistics operations.
