Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics with overall business objectives. ·        Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels and minimize excess or shortages. Implement inventory control measures to enhance accuracy and reduce carrying costs. ·        Transportation Coordination: Coordinate and optimize transportation activities, including, route planning, and carrier selection. Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers to achieve cost-effectiveness. ·        Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities. ·        Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality standards for logistics processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. ·        Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve logistics performance. ·        Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks. Develop contingency plans to address unexpected disruptions in logistics operations.
