While India has lower breast cancer incidence compared to the USA, we tragically lose exponentially more lives each year, with only 50% surviving. In contrast, in the USA, only 15% are lost to breast cancer. The primary reason is that in India, diagnosis often occurs at later stages, resulting in premature loss of lives. This can and must be improved through increased awareness and proactive health measures. #breastCancer #statistics #prevention

Prostate cancer is the #2 cancer affecting men. Early screening is crucial for early detection, leading to better treatment outcomes and higher survival rates. According to the American Cancer Society, men should start prostate cancer screening at age 50 if they are at average risk and expected to live at least ten more years. Men at high risk, including: ✔ African American men, and those with a first-degree relative diagnosed before age 65, should start at age 45. Men at even higher risk include: ✔ Men with more than one first-degree relative diagnosed at an early age should begin screening at age 40. You can take control of your health by understanding your family history and begin screening early. Your proactive steps today can make all the difference tomorrow. https://bit.ly/3V1FmRu. #MensHealthMonth #ProstateCancer #EarlyDetection
