Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) 2025-26: Now Open for Applications. The CIF 2025-26 bidding window is officially open, giving academies and sixth form colleges the chance to secure funding to improve their facilities. At TD Roofing Consultants (TDRC), we’ve been instrumental in helping schools and education property consultants submit successful CIF bids, securing substantial funding in previous rounds. According to the Department for Education CIF Guidance for 2024/25, "Surveys must be carried out by an independent source. Applications will not be considered independent if, for example, they are conducted by a company that has also quoted or tendered for the work or is a waterproofing manufacturer or supplier for any proposed solutions." Despite this, some waterproofing manufacturers are promoting CIF surveys on social media, which undermines the objectivity needed for these bids.
