We are excited and proud to announce that our colleagues at Computer Controls Italia have provided the FormFactor Inc.'s EPS150 probe station to #ARPLab of the DEIB department at Politecnico di Milano, where research is being conducted on the design of integrated frequency synthesizers and analog-to-digital converters for future radio and radar applications. The probe station will allow high-precision measurements of devices and components from a few kHz to hundreds of GHz. 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁-𝗔𝗣𝗟 - at last week's ACHEMA, the new Advanced Physical Layer was a major highlight in the process industry. And Knick has also introduced a new module for this purpose. The special feature: This enables the Ex-certified Protos 4-wire transmitter to transmit the vital data of the measuring point to the process control system via 2-wire technology and PROFINET in accordance with the NAMUR Open Architecture (NOA). Until now, devices with the much older and significantly slower HART communication have been widely used here. The module can also be used to upgrade existing Protos measuring points to make them future-proof. Dr. Michael Kogej presents the advantages of a fully automatic cleaning/calibration system for pH sensors as an example. #ethernetapl #apl #profinet #ccare
