Apart from the challenges brought by Covid, we are witnessing the rise of a hybrid work culture. As social beings, we thrive on interactions, forming bonds, and collaborating. Work is more than just tasks; it's about building relationships, fostering communication, camaraderie, and teamwork. Organizations should strive to cultivate inviting environments that blur the lines between weekdays, making Mondays feel like Fridays. #HybridWork #WorkCulture #EmployeeEngagement

Kicking off the week with our monthly office breakfast 🥐🍇☕—always a great way to catch up with colleagues beyond our usual teams and projects. In a hybrid work setup, moments like these are so important. They’re not just about the coffee and pastries (though those are great!)—it’s about reconnecting, learning more about each other, and sharing what excites us, both at work and beyond. It’s a reminder that while remote work gets the job done, these personal connections make it all more meaningful.✨ #TeamCulture #HybridWork #Connection

This week, our People Team gathered for an offsite, and it was truly invaluable! While we thrive in a hybrid/remote work setup, these in-person experiences are irreplaceable. 💼✨ Why In-Person Matters: 🤝 Building Connections: Face-to-face time deepens our bonds and strengthens our team spirit. 💡 Enhanced Collaboration: Brainstorming together sparks creativity and innovation. 🎯 Aligning Goals: Ensures we're all on the same page with our mission and objectives. 🎉 Celebrating Success: Nothing beats celebrating wins together! Why We Love Hybrid/Remote Work: 🏡 Flexibility: Empowers us to work in our best environments. 🌍 Talent Attraction: Broadens our talent pool globally. ⚖️ Work-Life Balance: Helps us balance personal and professional lives. Great seeing you Suzanna Earle, Karen G., Stephanie Gatlin, Sheren Chiang ACC, CPCC, Natecia Smith, & Natalie Schulz! #TeamOffsite #HybridWork #RemoteWork #TeamBuilding #WorkLifeBalance #Innovation

Thinking about holding an end of the year team-building session? When it comes to team building, location matters more than you might think. An off-site setting offers teams a chance to disconnect from the daily grind, freeing them to connect in new, meaningful ways. When employees step out of the office, the physical and mental shift can lead to fresh perspectives, honest communication, and renewed motivation. The benefits of team building go deeper when people are relaxed, away from the usual pressures, and open to learning something new about themselves and their colleagues. An off-site experience is an opportunity to set the stage for creativity and vulnerability, removing the limits that sometimes come with the standard office environment. This change of scenery empowers teams to engage in ways that can transform dynamics, foster loyalty, and build a stronger, more cohesive culture. Curious about designing an impactful off-site team-building experience? We’re here to help you plan a meaningful event that strengthens team bonds and drives long-term success. https://lnkd.in/e3KPaPbX #teambuilding #organizationalhealth #employeeengagement #workplaceculture #teambuildingtips #leadershipdevelopment #accompanysuite #culture

Edward Hopper’s Office at Night (1940) shows us a quiet office scene. It is steeped in unspoken tension and isolation. It’s a striking reflection of the rigid hierarchies and power dynamics of that time. Even the earthy tones of Green and Brown make it look almost daunting. Now let's look at the 21st century workplace: - We’ve embraced diversity and inclusion, but subtle hierarchies still persist. - Remote work may connect us virtually yet often there is an emotional distance. - Mental health and work-life balance are more important than ever. How far have we really come in reshaping workplace dynamics? What does your office look like at night? #EdwardHopper #WorkplaceCulture #Leadership #ArtAndWork

The Office Where Everyone Thrived and showed passion to work! My personal experience! In a bustling city, there was a small but ambitious workplace known for something special—its friendly and flexible culture. The employees called it The Thrive Office because everyone there genuinely felt they were growing, both personally and professionally. At the heart of this thriving environment was their leader, Anaya. She believed that success wasn’t just about meeting targets but about creating a space where people felt valued and heard. “Happy people create extraordinary results,” she often said. One day, during their weekly huddle, Anaya asked everyone a question: “What’s one thing we can do to make our workplace even better?” Ravi, the team’s newest member, spoke first. “I think open communication is key. Sometimes we have great ideas but hesitate to share them.” Anaya smiled and said, “Let’s create a safe space where no idea is too small or silly. Starting today, every idea gets a voice.” Next, Meera chimed in. “Flexibility has been a game-changer for me. Being able to adjust my work hours for my kids’ school events makes me more focused when I’m here.” Anaya nodded, “Work-life balance isn’t just a perk—it’s a necessity. Let’s keep adapting to what works best for everyone.” Vikram, the team’s quiet thinker, added, “I’d love more opportunities to learn and grow. Maybe workshops or training sessions?” Anaya replied, “Great idea! Growth fuels passion. Let’s build a learning calendar that supports everyone’s goals.” As the weeks passed, small changes began to make a big difference. Every Friday, they celebrated wins—whether it was landing a big project or Ravi finally sharing his first pitch. The workplace became a haven of respect, encouragement, and innovation. What made The Thrive Office unique wasn’t just the policies but the trust and kindness that every employee brought to the table. It wasn’t just a place to work—it was a place to belong. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every workplace could thrive like this? What’s your version of The Thrive Office? #worklifebalance #friendliness #workculture #team #together #teamwork #respect #passion #thriveoffice #employees #satisfaction

“Wednesdays are our anchor day. That’s the day we try to come in and do intentional work together, like a two-hour workshop on a problem we’re trying to solve.” 3Play Media’s Chief People Officer Sarah Barillaro shares how setting ‘anchor days’ keeps humans in the loop and improves engagement. Research suggests in-person collaboration delivers better innovation results. A long-term study at the University of Oxford found that workers based at the same site made more breakthrough discoveries compared to their fully remote counterparts. As such, Barillaro intentionally sets time aside to interact in person on these anchor days: “My team is actually not based out of the Boston office, so when I am in the office, I try not to have team meetings to really make sure that I can have as many face-to-face meetings with the employees there.” Tune in for strategies to help you navigate hybrid work changes: https://lnkd.in/eZG_aEbi #hybridwork #flexiblework #Skedda
