Chapter 3 | Growing the Business Today I met Nicolas de Ménis at the Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau office. I met with him to discuss a business expansion opportunity. Organizing this expo will be no easy task; we expect it to take five years for the first edition to take place. The ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) has released its 2023 Country and City Rankings for hosting international events. 💡 We took a closer look at the Top 40 Ranking of the #2023GDSIndex alongside the #ICCA Top 40 City Rankings, and we noticed a pattern. Ten cities (in no particular order) appear in both lists: #Gothenburg, Sweden #Oslo, Norway #Copenhagen, Denmark #Helsinki, Finland #Stockholm, Sweden #Barcelona, Spain #Brussels, Belgium #Montreal, Canada #Sydney, Australia #Bangkok, Thailand  💪 It is encouraging to see cities leading in both hosting #InternationalMeetings and advancing sustainability efforts.
