Director of Analysis at RANE, Sam Lichtenstein, spoke at the Global Resilience Federation Summit on Security & Third-Party Risk last week. His session, titled "A Corporate Intelligence Framework for 21st Century Geopolitics," addressed how steadily eroding global stability and an uncertain world order has put #geopolitics front and center in corporate decision making. Check out Sam in action speaking to the audience on how to adapt the intelligence cycle to address diverse threats.

Feedback is one of the most overlooked elements in Intelligence - but it's KEY to providing highly impactful intelligence, and effective operations. I had the pleasure of exploring the importance of feedback and evaluation in intelligence with the Securitas Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) Intelligence Community last week - analysts from around the world coming together as part of our monthly Awareness session to develop skills, knowledge, and relationships to best serve our customers. Feedback is key to providing customers with the highest quality of intelligence to fulfil their requirements, in addition to identifying new intelligence requirements (IRs). Feedback also enables effective operations by identifying new and improved ways of working. While feedback is generally associated with the ‘Evaluation & Feedback’ step of the intelligence cycle, when consider how it applies to every step of the process, and in context of the customer (and their IRs). During the session we shared real-world feedback received from customers (positive, not-so positive), how to ask for feedback, how to address feedback, and all-important: how to turn feedback into action (including a handy tool)! For more analysis and insights on the global security and threat landscape follow Securitas Risk Intelligence. 🔴🔴🔴 #riskintelligence #intelligence #intelligenceanalysis #intelligencecommunity #opensourceintelligence #osint #safety #security #geopolitics #terrorism #crisismanagement #resilience #cybersecurity #threatintelligence #protectiveintelligence

🌍 In 2024, geopolitical risk is more interconnected and unpredictable than ever. From economic sanctions to cyber warfare, the stakes for multinational companies are rising. 📉 Real-world implications: A single geopolitical misstep can result in multi-billion-pound losses, reputational damage, or even long-term market exclusion. 💻 CEOs and C-suite executives must elevate geopolitical foresight to a board-level issue. Being proactive, rather than reactive, is the only way to stay competitive in a fragmented global order. Are you integrating geopolitical risk into your long-term business strategy?
