We need to address young people's needs and rights in the coming EU Parliament elections. We need to resolve the pointless generational divide, by realizing that we need to work for the young first if we want to have a shot at pursuing the European ideals. It is not enough to say that you care, we need action now, on so many fronts, from mental health, wealth gaps, access to the job markets, to housing, etc. Europe will be social, or will lose its soul.
💡 Do European Political Parties care about future generations? ✅ In theory, yes: all the Euromanifestos are filled with statements supporting the rights of future generations. At first glance, the issue appears to cut across political affiliations and intersect with various policy domains. 🔎 But the question is: will these aspirations materialise into effective change?
