The control device achieved a maximum power conversion efficiency of 17.46% under front-side 1 Sun AM1.5G illumination,” Ananta explained. “A significant influence of ground Lambertian reflection is observed with tilt angle variations, resulting in increased efficiency from 17.46% to 18.82% as the tilt angle reached 20 degrees.” Additionally, the researchers found that enhancing the rear-side albedo to 0.5 Sun yielded a maximum efficiency of 26% with a bifaciality factor of 89.3% at a tilt angle of 20 degrees. “Consequently, the synergistic effect of 0.5 Sun albedo and a 20-degree angular light inclination led to developing bifacial perovskite solar cells with an efficiency of 26.46%” Ananta went on to say. “SCAPS-1D simulations are further employed to validate the experimental Lambertian reflection effects.”

Check this out 🤩. A great collaboration on the review paper “perovskite photobatteries” with collegues. What’s your insight on the future of batteries with these photo-rechargeable ones?
Notre récent article, intitulé "Advancements and Challenges in Perovskite-Based Photo-Induced Rechargeable Batteries and Supercapacitors : A Comparative Review", a été publié dans le journal MDPI Batteries. Our recent paper, titled 'Advancements and Challenges in Perovskite-Based Photo-Induced Rechargeable Batteries and Supercapacitors: A Comparative Review,' has been published in the MDPI Batteries journal. This paper highlights the recent advancements and provides a comparative analysis of perovskite-based materials in photo-induced rechargeable batteries (PBs). Despite their potential, the practical application of these batteries as reliable power sources is hindered by significant technical and financial challenges, primarily due to the intermittent nature of solar radiation. To address these issues, ongoing research is exploring the integration of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) into PBs. This approach aims to balance energy availability with future demand, reduce energy waste, and stabilize power output for wearable and portable electronics, as well as energy storage applications." https://lnkd.in/eREtKCQt
