GenLogs, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of roadside sensor networks that track truck movements, recently raised over $6 million in Seed funding. The round was led by Autotech Ventures and Steel Atlas, with participation from several notable investors. No need to radically change a good brand name when less is more. As of yesterday, PreSeed Ventures - rooted at DTU - Technical University of Denmark - is officially changing name to PSV. You may even have noticed the abbreviation as part of the different activities coming out of PSV, i.e. the coming fund, PSV DeepTech, which I am a founding partner of. PSV will continue as a venture house supporting and spinning out pre-seed stage activities. Its mission remains the same, and it’s at the heart of everything the venture house does: "Clearing the path for founders building companies that matter."
