The comments section in this post did not disappoint… But then again… When I see people talk about how AI is helping them more than their therapist, or how they genuinely feel better after a conversation with ChatGPT, what does that tell you? People crave understanding. They yearn to “feel” understood. And they’ll seek it from anywhere, even from something they know is not a person. It’s a powerful reminder that feeling understood builds trust. Whether it’s with another human or an AI, that sense of understanding is what encourages someone to move from point A to point B—feeling less alone in the journey. What are your thoughts? In professional settings, using ChatGPT often carries a stigma. It can feel like your knowledge or effort is questioned, with others assuming the true quality of your work would be even lower without AI. The credit tends to shift from the individual to the tool. In personal spaces, however, using ChatGPT is more accepted—even celebrated. It’s a way to show off efficiency and creativity, with no need to compete. I've noticed some folks equate AI with ChatGPT. If ChatGPT has been your only (or main) exposure to AI writing, then I *completely* understand the skepticism. But you're doing yourself a disservice. Check out other AI platforms (Copy.ai workflows are a great place to start), and at the very least, play with Anthropic's Claude Models. And you don't have to worry: I'm 100% confident humans will always be needed in the loop. But now those humans don't have to be so damn tired all the time. If you, like me, use AI tools to research, it is advisable to use multiple tools to find the answers you need. Below is a response from Perplexity.ai on my findings when I asked ChatGPT and Perplexity the same question: - Provide links to sources that confirm these 7 seven facts. ChatGPT was able and Perplexity not. This came as a surprise to me as I found Perplexity.ai very useful in finding facts-based resources. It shows that no tool is perfect, and your expertise and guidance are still needed to get optimal results. #chatgpt #perplexity
