Have you ever considered how AI promotes sustainability and ecological practices in the travel industry? 🤔 I’ve gone deep into the topic to discover that! Here’s a detailed look at how AI contributes to a more eco-friendly travel sector: ▪ Optimising Transportation AI optimises transportation routes and schedules to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. For airlines, AI algorithms can manage air traffic to minimise delays. ▪ Promoting Sustainable Tourism AI helps travellers make eco-friendly choices by providing information on sustainable destinations, eco-friendly hotels, and green activities. ▪ Reducing Waste AI-driven waste management systems in airports, hotels, and tourist attractions optimise recycling. Smart AI bins can sort recyclables for better waste management strategies. Frankly, it’s just a part of AI benefits for more sustainable tourism. Would you like to add more points to discuss? I’m all ears 👂 #aiintravel #aiinhospitality #aibenefits #sustainabletourism

🚢 New Technologies and Ecological Initiatives in the Cruise Industry! 🌍 The cruise industry is undergoing a major technological transformation, led by companies like MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean Group. These companies are integrating connected ships and smart systems. For example, MSC offers mobile apps to personalize onboard services, while Royal Caribbean uses connected bracelets that allow passengers to do everything on board, such as opening their cabin door, making contactless payments, and even sending mass communications to all passengers. 💡 On the ecological front, companies such as Carnival Cruise Line are adopting LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) for their ships, significantly reducing CO2 emissions. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. has eliminated single-use plastics, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable tourism. 🌱 Additionally, ecotourism cruises are growing, offering passengers immersive experiences while respecting local ecosystems. 🌍💚 At Shore to Sea, we are proud to support these initiatives with efficient and sustainable supply services, enabling these ships to offer the best to their passengers while respecting the planet. ⚓🌊
