This is from my workout Friday. I did… • 5k Run: I started at 6.5mph, but I then upped it to 6.7mph at 6-something or 7-something; I hadn’t payed much attention to the time. At 17:38, I slowed down to 6.6mph. At 19:12, I slowed back down to 6.5mph. I ALMOST walked a couple times, but I refused to & told myself to keep my eyes on the prize. At 3.0mph, I TRIED to sprint at 12.0mph; but the treadmill took sooo long to speed up, I think it only got up to 10.7 or maybe 10.9! 😒 When I got to 3.0mph, I thought I slapped the Stop button, but it took a full second for me to realize it wasn’t slowing down; so I really finished in about 28:10, but it’s whatever. • Kickboxing Mitts & Gloves: We worked on our kicks, knees, & 2’s (straight right), & 3’s (left hook). I’ve been working on making my kicks Muay Tai style; my leg goes up &, when I kick, I push off w/ my leg when connecting w/ the kick, so my kick kinda works to reset me for the next strike. • Kata: We finished by doing 3 sets of kata forms. On Saturday, we just did some boxing drills.
