💥 Presentation and service is everything 😎 when it comes to sales. We have just returned from 10 days in Turkey and were completely captivated by the bizarres, interiors and some of the many wonderful markets. We came across a small square whilst in Cappadocia and became quite entranced by the wall to wall hangings of some beautiful rugs on offer. The owner very kindly spent about an hour with us explaining what was involved in the making of some of the work. Hand made, specific dyes and the time taken to make were all explained along with the design and symbolism. Now you might say well he would spend an hour with you. He wants your sale. He was patient, willing and at times funny. He was calm, polite and very eager to talk about his culture and his business. We were with friends and let's just say between us we made it worth his while. Yesterday we had our new rug delivered and can honestly say both the experience and the rug will live long in all our memories. ❤️ This got me thinking. How much do you put into your sales technique? Do you practice? Are you patient? Do you overdeliver? Do you show your passion? This particular experience also emphasised the nature of our 1-2 -1 relationships with our prospects and how important it is to demonstrate willing and alignment.
