The Stradivari 1716 violin is considered one of the finest examples of Antonio Stradivari's craftsmanship. Its production standards are remarkable and can be summarized as follows: Material Selection: Stradivari used high-quality wood, typically spruce for the top and maple for the back and sides, sourced from the Alps. The wood's grain and density are crucial for sound quality. Craftsmanship: The construction techniques employed by Stradivari were highly advanced, involving precise cutting, bending, and assembly. His meticulous craftsmanship ensures that each component fits perfectly. Dimensions and Proportions: The size and shape of the violin were carefully designed to achieve optimal sound resonance. The curvature and proportions of the body significantly affect tonal quality. Varnish: Stradivari used a specific type of varnish that enhances the aesthetic appeal and acoustic properties of the wood. The varnish is typically thin, allowing the wood to vibrate freely. Internal Structure: The internal design, including the shape of the arching and the placement of the bass bar and sound post, is meticulously calculated to enhance depth and richness of sound. F-Hole Design: The shape and placement of the F-holes are precisely determined to facilitate sound projection and resonance. These standards contribute to the exceptional beauty and sound quality that make the 1716 Stradivari violin a masterpiece in the world of string instruments. #Stradivari1716 #violin #classicmusic #INNEOmusic

🎻 The Secret World of Violin Making & Its Potential as an Alternative Investment 🏺 Let me share with you this fascinating video showcasing the Vettori family workshop in Florence, Italy. Since 1935, three generations of Vettori luthiers have preserved the time-honored craft of creating exquisite violins, violas, and cellos. Their workshop is a testament to the marriage of tradition and uncompromising craftsmanship. ⚜️ What struck me most was the meticulous nature of their work: 🔹 A master luthier works only 4-5 hours daily to ensure they can maintain a high level of focus 🔹 Each bowed strings instrument demands at least 150 hours of hands-on craftsmanship 🔹 Multiple bowed strings instruments may be crafted simultaneously, allowing proper drying time for the varnish 🔹 Only 10-15 instruments can be completed annually 📊 For perspective: Even the legendary Antonio Stradivari averaged just 14.5 instruments per year. 💎 Let's talk about the investment value of these masterpieces. The price point of hand-crafted bowed string instruments reflects generations of expertise, countless hours of dedicated craftsmanship, and the simple fact that true mastery can't be rushed or mass-produced. These instruments often appreciate significantly over time, much like other alternative investments. Stradivari's violins are known for their exquisite craftsmanship since the 17th century are are valued between US$8 million to US$20 million currently. 🌟 What fascinates me is how these investment categories share the golden thread of irreplaceable human expertise combined with time-honored tradition. In a world of mass production, these handcrafted masterpieces remind us that some things simply cannot be rushed or replicated. 💭 I'd love to hear your thoughts: 🔸 What other investment categories follow this pattern of craftsmanship and appreciation? 🔸 How does investing in handcrafted bowed strings instruments compare versus investing in limited edition time pieces, fine art, wine or whiskey? 🔸 Have you ever considered musical instruments as part of your investment portfolio? 🔸 What other traditional crafts do you think hold similar investment potential? Uniqueness in Every Aspect – HyperMark labels ensure authenticity and the highest level of security. Where can uniqueness be better exemplified than in the masterpieces of Antonius Stradivari, arguably the most famous violin maker of all time? For over 350 years, the unmistakable sound and the myth surrounding each of his instruments have captivated the world. Treasured by their owners, these violins are entrusted only to the most renowned violinists to bring them to life, or displayed in museums and exhibitions for the public to admire. Yet, when they return to the hands of their owners, who can guarantee that it is truly the original? That’s where the role of HyperMark labels comes in – safeguarding the identity and legacy of these masterpieces. It allows you to confirm the “authenticity” of goods hassle-free and simple. Each HyperMark label (HML) is like a diamond, holding unique, unchangeable information within its tiny crystalline structure. This info is visible to the naked eye and carries security features you can spot easily, like names, serial numbers, or images. If someone tried to change or tamper with the information, this would destroy the crystalline structure irreversibly and result in a visible damage to the HyperMark label (HML),which again you can detect yourself. Currently, we have implemented HyperMark labels in one of these precious Stradivaris. If you want to know more about it, reach out to office@integrysign.com Monograph of the Antonio Stradivari Violin c.1667 ‘Back’, ‘Josefowitz’: https://lnkd.in/ep8h_fzk Links: Bambarone Art Foundation: https://lnkd.in/duHm2uPH Integrysign: https://lnkd.in/dbPEdwrj #integrysign #hypermark #hypermarklabels #security #authenticity #stradivari

[...] Baroque can be defined in multiple ways: today, the image of an eccentric, "intellectual," and elaborate artwork evokes feelings in us that are not different from those experienced by viewers of a baroque painting in 1650. The issue here is the beginning of a change in perspective, where the timid first steps of science coincided with a conceptual reflection by the artist, something fundamental for the dialecticization of their desire: "Why do I paint? For whose sake?". If someone studies the History of (Performative) Arts, they will see that these questions were fundamental to the stylistic change that contributed to the establishment of something entirely self-evident today: the manner (idiom) of the artist is placed at the center. This is because artistic creation becomes conceptual, as Nominé (2011) emphasizes, bringing to the forefront the "disegno interno", the inner gaze, something that psychoanalysis would gently embrace as the substantiation of the object-cause of desire. The mannerist technique did not fail to present the body as a transmitter of enjoyment (jouissance), with strange, possibly lustful, poses; the body now certainly enjoys, even if this enjoyment is idealized. This latter point also gives rise to a new theological offshoot that can find its expression in pure performative Baroque, where the artist's questions take on a more intense tone, due to a structural component. It is worth examining a painting by Domenikos Theotokopoulos, and we will see the "dimension of obscenity" (dimension de l'obscénité) preparing the ground for the intense rupture that Baroque will bring: quasi-liquid extremes, bodies ready to melt, gazes full of liveliness, ineffable pain, and undeniable lust, "saints next door"... We cannot help but revere them, even though something within all this makes us feel uncomfortable. Perhaps now, enjoyment is closer to us than in the highly staged Renaissance fresco. [...] ~Risvas, C. (February 2020). A comment on the function of baroque music in the context of Jacques Lacan’s Seminar XX (“Encore”). During the open seminar of the Forum of the Lacanian Field of Athens. Athens, Greece. Ιmage: The Penitent Magdalene by El Greco (Doménikos Theotokópoulos). circa 1580.
