Radon is a class-A known human carcinogen meaning there is enough data to conclude that it can cause cancer. It comes from the radioactive decay of uranium. Like carbon monoxide, it is colorless and odorless. When radon breaks down, the particles are inhaled and become trapped inside your lungs. As the particles continue to break down they further damage the lung tissue and alter the DNA of the cells. An individual’s probability or risk of lung cancer is based on how high the level of radon to which they are exposed and the duration of the exposure. Get a simple radon test done and find out if your home has elevated radon. The test could save your life. 636-200-2875 #radoncausescancer #radontestingsaveslives #radontesting #lungcancerawarenessmonth
