Reflecting on an Inspiring Event 🌍 Recep Kahraman, PhD Technical Fellow - Heat Exchanger Aerothermal Design, had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion on the future of thermal management, where he delved into the transformative role of additive manufacturing in driving innovation toward a zero carbon future in aerospace, motorsport, and energy. It was great to be part of a global perspective on thermal management, sharing insights and exploring how cutting-edge technologies can address the challenges of efficient heat management while promoting sustainability. The discussions highlighted the potential of additive manufacturing to revolutionise our approaches and enhance performance in these critical sectors. Thank you to all the panellists and attendees for a thought-provoking experience. Excited to apply these insights and continue collaborating on solutions that will shape a more sustainable future! #ThermalManagement #AdditiveManufacturing #ZeroCarbon #Aerospace #Motorsport #Energy #GlobalPerspectives #Sustainability #TII #AMtF #Innovation

James Atkinson - this illustrates quite well what I was saying about thermal management being applicable across many difference sectors and within aviation regardless of which propulsion system ends up winning the race in each market sector 😊 it's also a good mix of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, fluid dynamics and mechanical design and control systems. So highly transferable skills to other areas and design applications.

Recep, thank you for coming to support all of our engagements in Abu Dhabi this week!

Great work Recep! Additive Manufacturing offers huge potential for thermal management solutions, it’s great to be involved at such exciting times for the industry.

After 35 years and having burnt 150mln GBP Reaction Engines enters administration. Too much public funding was wasted from this paper engine company, delivering mostly PowerPoints , missing revenue projections over time, deceiving investors on its capabilities and SABRE engine development. Time to move on for the UK aerospace sector.
