After 35 years and having burnt 150mln GBP Reaction Engines enters administration. Too much public funding was wasted from this paper engine company, delivering mostly PowerPoints , missing revenue projections over time, deceiving investors on its capabilities and SABRE engine development. Time to move on for the UK aerospace sector.

1moJames Atkinson - this illustrates quite well what I was saying about thermal management being applicable across many difference sectors and within aviation regardless of which propulsion system ends up winning the race in each market sector 😊 it's also a good mix of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, fluid dynamics and mechanical design and control systems. So highly transferable skills to other areas and design applications.
