Over 20,000 delegates representing 90 countries came together in Cannes for the 34th edition of MIPIM, the global urban festival uniting investors, political leaders, and the real estate community to build relationships and tackle challenges in the built environment. With a growing number stands and pavilions (340) expanding across 19,500 sqm, with new delegations from North America, the Middle East, South East Asia and elsewhere, MIPIM 2024 showcased a world of opportunities amidst today's uncertainties. MIPIM 2024 stood out as the most sustainable edition yet, marked by commitments to a cleaner, greener, more diverse event with increased social impact. In its journey towards decarbonization, MIPIM joined the “Road to Zero Alliance” with prominent businesses like PwC and real estate investment trust Icade for swifter, more impactful action. “For the first time at MIPIM, we launched the 'Housing Matters!' conference during the pre-opening. We are proud to have Housing Ministers from France, Germany, and the UK—the three largest markets at MIPIM—sharing their perspectives on housing issues and exploring alternative strategies."
