This is a great free resource! 🎉 I would add the following: - Communicate this information multiple times and in multiple ways e.g., comms, calendar invites, announcements at the event etc. - Be really clear about the start and end times of the event. If there's no afterparty, make sure you state that. - The safe departure information is so important. Actively stating that you're providing this because you don't want people to drink and drive for their safety can help your team why you are doing this. Sharing the 'why' can help with uptake and normalise the concept of accepting support. - Remember your positive duty around sexual harassment. Include events in your risk register and manage it accordingly. - Talk to your people after the event and remind them that you're open for a chat if they have concerns. #HR #HumanResources #WorkEvents

This trick-or-treating meme here has been doing the rounds on the socials in Australia in the lead-up to Halloween, prompting much heated debate 🗣️ 🕸️ While some Aussies (particularly younger generations) have recently embraced trick-or-treating and elaborately decorating houses and front yards with spooky paraphernalia, other Aussies (older people mainly but not exclusively) see the old Celtic holiday that ushers the start of long nights in the Northern Hemisphere instead as a tacky and overly commercialised US cultural import that has nothing traditionally to do with Australia. 🎉 In an Aussie twist though, some suburbs now use Halloween, and the longer and warmer evenings it heralds in the Southern Hemisphere, as the perfect occasion for holding community-building street parties. 😡 Still, you have many Aussies who are vehemently opposed to anything to do with Halloween and are very vocal about it. 🚨 With such polemics, it's always wise to tread carefully with Halloween-themed marketing for Australia. 🎃 What's the attitude towards trick-or-treating where you are? And do you agree with it? #Halloween #trickortreating #Australia #AustralianCulture #Australian #memes

Happy Easter & Drive Safely this Easter ————————————— As we embark on our journeys to connect with loved ones this Easter, prioritize safety on the roads: 1. Stay Alert and Rested: Get enough sleep before driving and take breaks as needed. 2. Obey the Speed Limit: Speeding reduces your reaction time in emergencies. 3.Avoid Distractions: Keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. 4. Designate a Driver: If you plan to enjoy Easter festivities, plan for a designated driver. 5. Check Your Vehicle: Ensure your car is in good working condition before hitting the road. Together, let's make this Easter a safe one. #DriveResponsibly #EasterSafety #RoadRules

🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 As we celebrate Independence Day, let's not forget our furry friends who may need some extra love and care during the festivities. If you're a pet owner, here are some important reminders to ensure your pets stay safe and calm during the fireworks extravaganza. 🐾 First, make sure your pets are wearing their collar with up-to-date tags and consider microchipping them. This will greatly increase the chances of reuniting with them if they happen to escape due to fireworks-induced fear. 🏡 Bringing your pets inside and creating a safe, comforting environment is crucial. Play some soothing music or turn on the TV to help mask the loud noises from the fireworks. Let's celebrate responsibly and ensure the safety and well-being of our beloved pets! 🐶🐱 Looking for a pet-friendly home where you and your furry companions can feel safe and secure? I've always found holidays like Halloween fascinating, especially diving into their origins and seeing how traditions have evolved into today’s billion-pound celebrations! Halloween wasn’t always about costumes and sweets. Its origins trace back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, celebrated on 1st November in pagan Ireland to mark the end of the harvest and start of winter. For the Celts, Samhain was a time to honour the thinning veil between the living and spirit worlds, marked by bonfires, feasts, and rituals — a far cry from today’s Halloween revelries! I think today is the only day besides Christmas when it’s totally socially acceptable to eat chocolate all day... 🍫 The numbers are spooktacular (I know, terrible joke). UK consumers spent around £1 billion on Halloween last year, pushing retailers and hospitality businesses to keep innovating and investing in this annual celebration. Today's Halloween is: 🎃 A social media goldmine for brands 🎃 A major hospitality event driving footfall 🎃 An opportunity for innovative marketing campaigns The most fascinating part? While the face of Halloween has changed dramatically, its core remains the same: bringing people together to share experiences, albeit now with themed cocktails and Instagram-worthy decorations! For those who feel like they want to channel their inner earth child and practice Samhain like a pagan: light a bonfire, host a feast and embrace nature! 🍂 #Halloween #Retail #Hospitality

Celebrating Christmas in August can indeed be a fun and unique idea! While the traditional Christmas holiday is in December, having a Christmas in August celebration can be a great way to enjoy the festive spirit during a different time of year. Here are some ideas for a Christmas in August celebration: 1. **Decorations**: Deck the halls with Christmas decorations such as lights, ornaments, and a Christmas tree. You can also incorporate summer-themed decorations like beach balls, sunglasses, or tropical flowers to blend the two themes. 2. **Gift Exchange**: Organize a gift exchange among friends or family members. You can set a budget and exchange gifts just like you would during the regular holiday season. 3. **Christmas Movies**: Have a movie marathon featuring classic Christmas films. Pop some popcorn, snuggle up in blankets, and enjoy the holiday spirit on a warm summer night. 4. **Christmas Feast**: Prepare a traditional Christmas feast with roast turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, and all the trimmings. Don't forget to include some summer dishes like grilled vegetables or fruit salads. 5. **Outdoor Activities**: Take advantage of the summer weather by organizing outdoor activities like a BBQ, picnic, or even a beach day. You can also play outdoor games like volleyball or have a water balloon fight. 6. **Christmas Music**: Create a festive playlist with your favorite Christmas songs and play it throughout the day to set the mood. 7. **DIY Crafts**: Get creative with DIY Christmas crafts like making ornaments, wreaths, or holiday-themed decorations. You can involve kids and adults in these activities. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy spending time with loved ones. Whether you celebrate Christmas in December or August, the spirit of the holiday season is all about spreading joy, love, and goodwill. #TheHondaPro #NextLevelSales #Audible #HondaOcala #TheMorganAutoGroup #TheFranchise #Batman

Hello Autumn Lovers! October has arrived, bringing with it vibrant foliage, crisp air and the excitement of Halloween! This month, it's all about cozy jumpers, pumpkin spice and spooky celebrations. Did you know that October takes its name from the Latin word ‘octo’, meaning eight. This reflects its position as the eighth month in the ancient Roman calendar. When January and February were added, making October the tenth month, the name remained, although the numerical order changed. Today, October is associated with the arrival of autumn in the northern hemisphere, with harvest festivals, autumn colours and, of course, Halloween! As we embrace the spirit of the season, don't forget to take some time for yourself amidst the hustle and bustle. Whether it's curling up with a good book or sipping a hot cup of cider, savour every moment. And don't forget to order your calendars for 2025. Happy October from Kliemo. #marketingandadvertising #creative #budgeting #kliemo #sustainability
