Spent some time unpacking the latest State of PR Report from Muck Rack Some recurring themes - the eternal challenges of getting response from journalists and managing stakeholder perceptions of the value #PR brings. What struck me were some of the variances between agency and brand respondents and how they may play a role in the turnover issue, which hovers around 25%. The level at which teams are reporting that they feel very valued by leadership, how they rank their top challenges, etc. is different enough to warrant a closer look. PR is a relationship business and stability is a key part of a successful team. The stats and comparisons can offer Comms leaders a baseline primer to more proactively monitor the overall health of the discipline within an organization. #MarComm #PublicRelations #Leadership #DataDriven #Communications
