As we wrap up our #RedSageGivesBack initiative, we’re shining a spotlight on two incredible team members—Alex and Lily—who are supporting causes that bring hope and opportunity to those in need! 💫 ❤️ Alex is supporting Southeastern Diversity Project, working to provide a sense of community, inclusive events, and support services & resources to LGBTQIA+ individuals and their allies in North Alabama. ❤️ Lily is giving to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of her grandmother. They are helping provide life-saving care to children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, all while ensuring families never receive a bill for treatment. We’re so proud of Alex and Lily for making a difference in their communities and beyond, and we're so proud of all of our team for their giving spirits this holiday season. Until next year! ✨ #RedSageCommunications #HolidayGiving #GivingBack

🧠 May is PWS (Prader-Willi Syndrome) Awareness Month! 🧠 At TRIZEd, we stand in solidarity with the global community in recognizing and supporting individuals affected by Prader-Willi Syndrome. This complex genetic condition presents unique challenges, ranging from early developmental delays to lifelong struggles with hyperphagia, behavioral issues, and cognitive impairment. As advocates for inclusivity and accessibility, we understand the importance of raising awareness about PWS and fostering a supportive environment for individuals and families navigating this journey. It's not just about understanding the medical aspects; it's about embracing empathy, compassion, and acceptance. Through our commitment to social responsibility, we actively engage in initiatives that promote education, advocacy, and support for individuals with PWS and their families. From fundraising drives to volunteer efforts and community outreach programs, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by this rare disorder. This month, let's come together to amplify the voices of individuals with PWS, share their stories, and advocate for greater access to resources, research, and healthcare services. By working collaboratively, we can break down barriers, dispel misconceptions, and create a more inclusive and supportive society for all. 💙 #PWSAwarenessMonth #Inclusion #Support #TRIZEdCares

🌟 Kindness Thursday 🌟 At Jeste Health Services, we believe that kindness isn’t just a value—it’s a practice that has the power to transform lives and build stronger communities. Kindness Thursday is more than a program; it’s a movement—a reminder that even the smallest acts of care can leave lasting impressions, this is why we have decided to pause and give back—sharing our time, resources, and hearts to make someone’s day a little brighter. It’s more than giving; it’s about creating moments of genuine care that remind us all of the power of human connection. Let’s continue to make Kindness a habit, not just a day. Because kindness isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. 💙 #KindnessThursday #HeartOfService #EmpathyInAction #JesteHealthServices

Growing up without father figures, we learned the value of support from our incredible single moms. They did it all, but we often wished they had the support they truly deserved. 💙 At Day1Dads, we understand how important that support is BECAUSE we’ve lived it. Without a clear path set for us, we’ve worked to create one for others. Through community and resources, we’re here to remind parents that it’s okay not to be okay. You’re not alone on this journey, and together, we can build a stronger foundation for the next generation. 🌟💬 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ #Day1Dads #HeyMom #HeyDad #WearWithCare #ParentingSupport #CommunityCare #MentalHealthMatters #YYCLocal #CalgaryNonProfit #ItTakesAVillage #FatherhoodJourney #ParentingCommunity #SingleParentSupport #BuildingPathways #YYCLife #CalgaryStrong #MentalHealthSupport #TogetherWeRise #ParentingMatters #YYCCommunity #SupportForParents #CalgaryCare

COVERAGE CLIFF FOR NJ MEDICAID FOR ELDERLY & DISABLED: Victoria Schall of Schall At Law recently had Hannah Diamond, Policy Advocate of the national organization Justice in Aging on RVN Television discussing their efforts to increase access to Medicaid benefits for older adults and people with disabilities in New Jersey. A coalition of aging and disability stakeholders in New Jersey is working to rectify coverage disparities. Enrolling in Medicare or turning 65 places older adults and people with disabilities at a "coverage cliff" for Medicaid benefits, subjecting them to stricter income and asset thresholds than younger populations. This harsh reality strips many of the essential Medicaid benefits they rely on, depriving them of critical home care services, such as personal care services, that support aging in their communities. Current financial eligibility criteria also impoverish these populations, limiting their ability to manage inevitable expenses like home or car repairs. Furthermore, these stringent financial criteria disproportionately impact older adults of color, who are more likely to be renters and, therefore, need ready access to cash. To learn more about the policy proposals addressing these inequities and how you can support their efforts, watch and help! https://lnkd.in/eUqp9gtV

✨Inspire Light’s 501(c)(3) Journey ✨ 2024 was the year our founder stepped into a truth she never imagined sharing— She is a minor survivor of human sex trafficking. With 5 years along in her healing journey through sobriety it has taken her through self-discovery, service, patience, forgiveness, acceptance, unity, and love. During this process, the Most High placed a vision on her heart—a safe sanctuary for mother survivors. A place where healing with the land becomes a path to reclaiming self-worth, education, employment opportunities, and reintegration with children and families. This vision felt bigger than anything she could achieve alone. So, she leaned into the wisdom of others—anti-human trafficking professionals, nonprofit leaders, law enforcement, and those with lived experience. She volunteered, asked questions, made mistakes, and learned at every step. The Vision in Action In August 2024, Inspire Light’s board committed to building the foundation for something greater. Just six months later, we have filed our 1023 forms to become a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In partnership with outreach programs and law enforcement, we are preparing to create spaces where survivors can embrace their inner light and reclaim their lives. Our Purpose Inspire Light is more than an organization—it’s a movement. Our mission is to serve mother survivors of human sex trafficking with trauma-informed resources for holistic healing, education, employment, and sustainable agricultural living. We are building pathways for reintegration, offering survivors and their families a sense of belonging within themselves and their communities. This is an organic process, guided by heart, faith, and collaboration. 💡 Here’s to Inspire Light’s first milestone in becoming a nonprofit. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a journey of healing, growth, and empowerment for many. Together, we are reclaiming light, one life at a time. #InspireLight #HealingThroughHope #SurvivorLeadership #AntiHumanTrafficking #501c3Journey #TraumaInformed #EmpowermentThroughCommunity

One of my favorite Rumi quotes is:" Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal.” I am so grateful that I am able to serve on the board of YouthCare Seattle. Thank you for the opportunity, Degale Cooper. Each year, 4.2 million young people in the U.S. experience homelessness. LGBTQ+ youth are particularly vulnerable. Factors like family conflict, poverty, and lack of affordable housing contribute to this crisis. 🛑 **Challenges Faced by Homeless Youth:** - Basic needs: food, shelter, safety - High risks: health issues, substance abuse, exploitation - Limited opportunities: education, employment ❤️ **YouthCare’s Impact:** In Seattle, YouthCare provides: - Safe spaces, nutritious meals, hygiene facilities - Outreach teams connecting youth to resources - Education programs for high school and vocational training - Mental health counseling and addiction recovery - Transitional housing for independence 💪 **Get Involved:** Supporting YouthCare means directly impacting young lives. Donations fund shelter beds, counseling, and education. Check out their website to see what they need the most. https://lnkd.in/gnzXJUxF Together, we can break the cycle of homelessness and empower youth.
