🚀 Tune in on this interview, where our founders Paul Clemens Bart and Marvin Bratke give detailed insights into Beta Realities innovative approach to architecture, focusing on #empathy, #technology, and #circularity. 💻 Technology enables us to develop #interactive and #customizable designs that engage users in the creation process. We strive to democratize architecture by incorporating stakeholder input, making the design experience intuitive and accessible. 🌱Our commitment to circular architecture involves designing buildings that can be disassembled and reused, aligning with a circular economy. Going beyond traditional architecture, we focus on #adaptable, #sustainable spaces that can evolve with their users. 🤝 Since our inception during the pandemic, we’ve embraced a hybrid work model that combines the benefits of remote #collaboration with in-person engagement. By fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes work-life balance, we encourage innovation and creativity among our team members. We believe that meaningful architecture comes from effective communication and #interdisciplinary influences, allowing us to create responsive, human-centered environments. 🌍✨Together, we are committed to shaping a sustainable future in architecture, inspiring connections, and transforming spaces for generations to come! Thanks a lot, Fabio Palvelli, for having us at D2 Conferences! Watch the full Video here: https://lnkd.in/eZQ65cCU #SpatialInnovation #Circularity #BetaRealities

ESG factors can help identify and mitigate risks associated with climate change, changing regulations, and reputational issues. Both Tenants and Landlords need to have proactive management of environmental and social risks in order to protect the long-term value of real estate assets. What a great group of professionals to spend the day with, and I will attend the level II session in September.

If you haven't seen them yet, please check out our series of short interviews with Breeanna Brown and David LaVigna talking about our new product launch - Signature Series! The full series can be found on the Nova Flex LED YouTube Channel https://lnkd.in/emHS4f5p but I especially like the 3rd one which I posted here because I think David does a great job explaining the impact that Signature Series can make in the hospitality environment. For those of you who are involved in design, Signature Series should be your go-to choice for: 1. Any place where the color quality of the space is desired, 2. Businesses where color quality of the products within the space is critical, 3. Areas of a space where the naturalness of the appearance of the occupants (skin tones) is important! If you'd like to learn more about Signature Series, or have a conversation about a project that you're working on, please let me know! #NovaFlexLED #SignatureSeries #hospitalitydesign #retaildesign #restaurantdesign #cardealerships #autodealership #architecturallighting #lightingdesign #lightingsolutions

We (I and Minus) are invited on the stage at New York Design Week / ICFF to talk about New economic models for sustainable design. For my own case this theme is an acknowledgement that for most commodities we’ll not reach a net zero society without new business models. The core is that all forms of carbon footprint are related to the use of natural resources, which increasingly faces global scarcity. The simple medicine is letting the material stay alive, through several product cycles, several decades, maybe centuries. And also: To limit the use of energy -> reuse before recycle. So, how do you know your material will be reused after a product life? Is it solved through the product design process? Or the design of business model? Or the design of value chains? Or everything? If we should meet in New York, send me a message:)

Why do we love certain products on sight while others take time? Raymond Loewy, dubbed the father of industrial design, believed it’s because of an intriguing tension we all feel. Loewy’s career was packed with legendary designs, including the first NASA spaceship interior. He followed a principle he called MAYA: Most Advanced Yet Acceptable. Here’s the gist: Humans crave newness (neophilia) but also fear things that feel too new (neophobia). Loewy claimed that hits happen when we balance novelty and familiarity - a sweet spot he called “familiar surprise.” It’s a framework validated by centuries of research, as Derek Thompson explains in his talk. This insight holds the key for #designers, #marketers, and #creators looking to make a lasting impact. Want to make a hit? Aim for the familiar surprise - Loewy-style. YOU NEED TO KNOW THESE ABOUT PROGRESS BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE 1. Your celebrated milestone can be someone else's first step. 2. Don't settle for an applaud from a FEW for something good you did when you can get an ovation from MANY for something better you could do. 3. Early contentment will rob you of a lifetime of relevance. 4. Your "anticipated end" is someone else's "little beginning". 5. Don't be carried away by the number of folks around you that are celebrating the good you are doing, when they see something better been done by someone else they will leave you to reckon with it.

Though I never wanted to be an engineer, I love engineering. Especially those of the 'feat variety' - that come up defying challenges, exceed expectations, and continue to amaze us each time we espy them. During my Delhi days I was in charge of filming and documenting the construction of the iconic Signature Bridge over many years. This is a film I made on its inauguration. At the time of the opening, there was some work still left on the viewing gallery at the very top - why the scaffolding. The film had to be made swiftly due to some compulsions involving the aam janta, or the common man. It always helps to have ground support for prestigious projects of such magnitudes. Also the government had a decidedly commoner image which they wanted to emphasise. Note the vox populi at the start. Putting this out here again as I see many shorter films on the bridge on YouTube with a lot of footage from my film; yes, just rubbing in - and driving home - my unquestioned ownership of the footage. But I am not complaining - I just hope it gets a professional vlogger some vital traction. This construction was an engineering marvel alright - standing at a jaw-dropping 150 plus metres, is India's first asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge, a delight to look at. The challenges posed by the P1 and P23 foundations were critical, the overcoming was a marvel. My crew and I have spent days down in the slush next to the Yamuna River shooting, as we have on the sweltering deck with the girders and beams to the stormy upper pylons and the gallery riding up the rickety lift. Well, just thinking on World Engineering Day today. #worldengineeringday #engineeringmarvel #signaturebridge #iconic #engineeringexcellence #bridges #engineeringdesign #engineeringday #memories #filmmakers #aamaadmiparty #delhi #filmmaker #filming
