As year-end approaches, many individuals begin to consider their charitable goals. Thinking through philanthropic goals can get confusing between how much to give, who to give it to, and what mechanism to gift through. While some people like making outright gifts to charities, others may still want additional benefits to their charitable giving. One strategy to give to charity is through a Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT), you will find our whitepaper discussing this strategy. This whitepaper explains the pros and cons of CRTs and why they might make sense for families.

Today is #GivingTuesday, the day for generosity! Do you know how your clients will be giving today? Millions of Americans right now are giving to causes they care about. Help your clients make the most of it by leveraging donor-advised funds (DAFs) to streamline their charitable giving. A DAF simplifies year-end contributions, ensures tax efficiency, and allows flexibility in selecting recipient charities. For clients who don’t yet have a DAF, there’s still time. We recommend establishing a donor-advised fund no later than December 16 to ensure they’re ready to give strategically during this Giving Season. Learn more: https://bit.ly/40ZzL32

It's important to make sure you're optimizing your donations, passing down charitable values to your family and receiving tax benefits when giving. To learn about things like qualified charitable distributions, charitable remainder trusts and donor-advised funds, watch our conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gMfjD7bY
