🌱 Celery Trial in Santa Maria 🌱 We’re excited to follow our latest celery trial in Santa Maria, where we’re using RDX-N with a reduced nitrogen program—approximately 20% reduction through the crop cycle. With an initial application at transplant, we’re aiming to show how bio-stimulant technology can support nutrient uptake, crop quality, and resilience with a reduction in synthetic nitrogen. RDX-N is the latest Redox breakthrough, allowing growers to cut nitrogen use by up to 50% while maintaining or even improving crop yield and marketable quality. Stay tuned for harvest results! #Redox #SustainableAg #Biostimulants

This has been one of my favorite trials the last 3 years at Redox Bio-Nutrients because of its focus on biostimulant technology. A Redox versus Redox comparison conducted by Kevin Beck. Credit to management for supporting this type of experiment. I am well aware of the significant benefits a humic substance can provide for nutrient uptake and so I wanted to verify if it could equal the significant nutrient utilization efficiency that RDX-N is capable of at 50%. I was right and wrong. H-85 was not able to maintain at the 50% rate of the grower standard like RDX-N, but was able to maintain at the 75% rate. Shout-out to our incredible partners at AG Nutrients that are changing the paradigm of nutrient inputs in this area of the country and our research partners providing growers and agronomists with the empirical information and confidence to do so. #Biostimulants #HumicSubstances #PlantExtracts #ChangeTheParadigm

Beneficial soil bacteria & plant salinity tolerance 🧂🦠 🔬 Plant-beneficial Pseudomonas spp. are aerobic, Gram-negative bacteria that demonstrate versatile activities that enhance plant resilience against multiple abiotic stresses ⚙️ Pseudomonas species enhance plant salinity tolerance through various mechanisms, including: - modulation of plant ethylene concentrations, - microbial synthesis of phytohormones, - release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), - production of exopolysaccharides - strengthening of root apoplastic barriers. 🌱 Pseudomonas activity strengthens the root apoplast barriers by increasing the deposition of suberin and lignin in xylem cell walls, suberin lamellae, and Casparian strips. 💧 In highly saline environments, increased aquaporin activity can offset reduced apoplastic permeability by enhancing symplastic water transport, allowing plants to more effectively regulate water uptake and sodium influx.
