One of the many highlights of my time at Snyk occurred this week. I had the good fortune to be moderating Snyk’s Forward Thinking Speaker Series and our guest was Ruth Buscombe Divey 🎉 . Ruth’s journey in Formula 1 is nothing short of inspiring. Hearing how she handles high-pressure situations with a blend of data and instinct was fascinating, and the parallels to what we do at Snyk were spot on. At Snyk we are empowering the world's developers to develop fast and stay secure. To deliver on our mission, we are focused on continuous innovation at all levels of the organization. Ruth shared a few important insights from her time in F1 and they are worth sharing! ✨ Greatness comes from adaptability: Everyone can be great on their best day, but what about on their worst day? Even when things go wrong the best drivers adapt to the situation and deploy their talent.  ✨ Resilience in action: Treat “pressure as a privilege”. In F1, as in tech, it’s all about turning challenges into opportunities for growth. ✨ Data meets instinct: “Gut decisions” are the result of years of data and experience. It’s a reminder that our instincts are often informed by all the work we’ve already put in. ✨ Tailored leadership: Understanding how each FI driver processes information differently was such a great parallel to how we can lead our teams more effectively. Ruth, thank you again for sharing your incredible journey with us!
