🤔💭 What is soil compaction and why does it matter? Soil compaction is the process by which soil particles are densely packed together, reducing pore space. Soil compaction occurs when the tiny particles in the soil are pressed tightly together, reducing the spaces that allow water, air and plant roots to move freely.
