Today I was reminded why I started AVOPORT PTY LTD It was truly never based on the financial aspects of running a business. It has always been and will remain to empower and effect positive change through development, market insight and market access to the rural and poorest farming communities in South Africa. As I approach the last year of my public leader position and having successfully bridged the gap between private and public sector. I have a new and more profound understanding and appreciation for the agriculture sector and all the people within it. I have a new perspective and respect for the challenges and obstacles that present. With a vigorous and vivacious energy to flip the script and see every challenge as an opportunity. I now choose to view the solutions that can be found within the problems. Somedays you need such reminders when you get lost in the when, where and how of your career/entrepreneurship journey. Protect your vision. Remember your purpose. Walk, work and speak with the highest level of integrity.

Delayed Gratification: The Tom Brady of Long-Term Business Sustainability . . . In the world of business, the concept of delayed gratification is not just a theory, it's a strategic IMPERATIVE. It's about making tough decisions today for a brighter tomorrow. . . . By reinvesting a significant portion of your profits back into your business, you're not merely spending money – you're planting seeds of growth, resilience, and longevity. Tom Brady did this as he got further into his career, if you happen to know your American football celebs. . . . This disciplined approach may not yield immediate rewards, but it's the bedrock upon which sustainable success is built. It's about prioritizing the future health of your business over short-term gains. . . . So, let's embrace delayed gratification as a powerful tool in our entrepreneurial arsenal. Let's invest wisely, think strategically, and build businesses that stand the test of time, just like TB12~~~! . . . #tombrady #delayedgratification #businesssustainability #strategicinvesting #longtermstrategy #entrepreneurship #businessgrowth #financialstrategy #investmentstrategy #eugeneoregon #springfieldoregon #portlandoregon #eugene #springfield #portland

Exploration isn't just about food and travel (although I do love a good bowl of noodles 🍜)! It's about diving into new opportunities, finding hidden gems, and - most importantly - building a life and business that's aligned with your passions. 🌟 Today's adventure took Benjamin Wing and me to Fei Fei Wanton Noodle House in Joo Chiat, a local icon serving up history and flavour since the 1970s. What struck me wasn't just the springy noodles (seriously, so good 🥢), but the story behind it - how a family-run business has thrived across generations, fueled by love, dedication, and staying true to their roots. That's exactly what we aim to do at the Royal Visionary Society - help passionate entrepreneurs and dreamers build legacies that last, just like Fei Fei! 💡 At the Royal Visionary Society, we believe that when passion meets purpose, magic happens. ✨ Whether it's creating a business, automating your workflow, or manifesting the freedom to live life on your terms - we've got the tools, strategies, and support to make it happen. Curious about how we can help you turn passion into fortune? Let's connect and chat about your journey to freedom - of time, wealth, and happiness! 🚀 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gpfcTSTr 💌 https://lnkd.in/gmF7qaB8 #RoyalVisionarySociety #Entrepreneurship #PassionToFortune #LegacyBuilding #AIAndAutomation #DreamLife #JooChiatJourney

In a world that often moves out of sync with the natural cycles of the earth, some of us are reclaiming our calendars. While much of the business world is focused on the “last quarter” of the year, we are stepping into our New Year. For many Indigenous entrepreneurs, business is more than just profit and loss—it’s about aligning with the wisdom of our ancestors and the land. Ways of being like ceremony, sweat lodge, and the timing of the Sundance guide us as we breathe life into our work. These practices ground us in cycles of renewal, reflection, and growth that are deeply intertwined with the natural world. Indigenizing entrepreneurship means honouring the rhythms of the earth and bringing them into the way we build, lead, and create. When the rest of the world is honouring systems that feel disconnected from the planet, we’re embracing cycles that nourish not just our businesses, but our spirits and communities. This is how we take back our time and our power. 🌿 #IndigenousEntrepreneurship #CulturalSovereignty #IndigenizeBusiness #thematriarchspeaks
