The universal shredder has the following application scenarios: Wood processing: • Logs and solid wood are broken into smaller pieces in factories for making products like particleboard and fiberboard. • Tree roots and branches after forestry or gardening work can be pulverized into biomass fuels, fertilizers or mulch. Metal recycling: • In the recycling process, waste metals like steel and metal barrels are crushed for easier transportation, storage and smelting. For example, shredding a car shell helps classify metals. • Industrial metal scraps and defective products are processed into uniform fragments for reuse or sale. Automobile dismantling: After a car is scrapped, its shell, metal and plastic parts can be processed. Shredding the shell separates recyclable materials and helps with plastic interior treatment. Plastic recycling: • Daily plastic products like bottles, baskets and pipes are broken into small pieces for recycling. • Plastic production wastes are processed to realize recycling and cost reduction. Electronic waste treatment: Waste electronic equipment contains recyclable materials. Shredding them helps separate different materials for fine recovery and reduces pollution. Garbage treatment: In garbage treatment plants, the shredder crushes domestic waste to reduce volume and is beneficial for incineration and resource - based treatment. Made to measure = made to reduce wastage. FERBOX is manufactured to suit individual joint lengths. Only the front covers of FERBOX are removed for recycling. Compared to off-the-shelf continuity strip, material loss and transfer of steel to be recycled is significantly diminished. As material usage and wastage is reduced, so is the environmental impact of embodied carbon. For more reasons why FERBOX bespoke continuity system outperforms off-the-shelf alternatives: https://bit.ly/iC-25 #OneADay #25Reasons #MadeToMeasure #MadeToBeSafer #MadeToReduceWastage #FERBOX #Concrete #Construction #ConstructionIndustry #ConnectWithUs

Conveyor belts have a crucial role in the recycling industry as they enable the transportation of large quantities and heavy loads of waste products from the loading dock to the sorting line, up to the crushing area. The use of conveyor systems optimizes material handling, increase storage capacities and reduce downtime during all operating phases. #Wastemanagement is #madeonabelt. #beltingneversleeps #fasteners #valves #bearings #machinery #machinetools #heavymachine #lathe #machinetool #conveyor #beltmanny #jerseybeltguy #powerlinesusa #acebeltingcompany #beltingmaintenance #machines #recycling #reuse #environmentalist #lovenature #saveearth #savetheplanet #earthfriendly #earthfocus #natureaddict #earthcare #environmentfriendly #environmental

This is our reality of recycling - diverting over 500 tonnes from landfill each year into: 💡 Electricity for the National Grid. 🔥 Fuel to heat our 40,000sqft facility year round. 🚧 Recycling PVC substrates into low grade plastic products such as construction bollards, fence bases & plant pots. There is nothing aesthetic about our recycling. The topic often comes dressed up elsewhere online but here, we operate a system that achieves results for our planet. Currently much of the waste material in the domestic construction sector is taken directly to landfill sites. A significant part of this material can be recycled if it is sorted and reprocessed appropriately. It is important to note that while it’s common to refer to construction and demolition waste as a single entity, C & D waste. In fact they are 2 separate waste streams AND should be treated as such!! The main categories of material in this waste stream include: -Brick/concrete/tile -Soil -Plastics -Metal -Plaster board -Timber, both LOSP treated and untreated, plus engineered and composite timber. While there are existing recycle/reuse pathways for brick/concrete/tile; soil; plastics and metal, and some opportunities to recycle plaster board and untreated timber. There is currently little opportunity to recycle LOSP treated timber, common in framing, and composite timber, common in flooring. However, research by the Recycled Organics Unit at UNSW in 2007 found that appropriately managed hot composting led to degradation of the chemicals used in LOSP treatment and in most recent composite timber products, to a point where there are no toxic compounds left! What do you think? Do you know anyone who is a recycling hero that needs to be talked about? Let me know!
