In Transformation & DEIB, we are often asked to make the business case for our qualitative interventions — how does making time for feelings and intercultural training, among other things, actually help the company? We've partnered with Hofstede Insights in Nigeria to answer this question in greater detail, and this is your chance to be part of the research journey. Register your interest in contributing to the research about diversity in leadership across Africa, and we'll share the completed report with you at no cost, for your board and exco to leverage: https://lnkd.in/dprHTHJ4 #Transformation #DEIB #DEI #EDI #BusinessCase #QualitativeProfessions #BusinessPerformanceAnalysis

A whole new way to experience Europe I recently had the unique opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Kirchberg, Luxembourg, where I gained valuable insights into the leadership and collaborative dynamics at the heart of the EU. Witnessing firsthand how the Parliament, Commission, and Council work together to make impactful decisions underscored the importance of leadership that drives change, and teamwork that bridges diverse perspectives to tackle complex issues. I was particularly struck by how Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) collaborate across different countries and political groups, working towards shared goals while navigating diverse priorities—an excellent example of teamwork at a global scale. The experience highlighted the power of aligning leadership with collaborative efforts to create policies that shape the lives of millions. Thanks to the Europa Experience, I walked away with a deeper appreciation for how effective leadership and cross-functional collaboration can solve complex challenges, a lesson applicable in any organizational setting. #Leadership #Collaboration #Teamwork #EuropeanParliament #EUExperience #EuropaExperience #PublicPolicy #GlobalLeadership #EUInstitutions #DecisionMaking #MEPs #Governance #CrossFunctionalTeams #PolicyMaking #Luxembourg #DiversityAndInclusion #EUCollaboration #GlobalChallenges #PoliticalLeadership #InstitutionalLeadership

I watched Scotland crash out of the Euros on Sunday. It didn't make pleasant viewing. I could really empathise with the team in the post match interviews and the look on their faces when they landed back in Glasgow last night! Ouch - a sore one for sure. No-one likes to lose. As leaders we often face moments of setback. If you're not failing now and again, you might even question whether you are stretching yourself ..... Defeats, whether on an international stage with the world watching, or within your latest initiative at work, test your resolve and make you question your strategies. Think back to a recent challenge in your leadership journey—perhaps a project that didn't pan out as expected, a goal that seemed increasingly out of reach, or a decision that didn't deliver the desired outcome. How did it make you feel? More importantly, what did it teach you? Here are 3 things that will help you bounce back. 1. Rapid Recovery: Embrace Agility in Leadership In sport, as in leadership, the ability to recover swiftly from setbacks determines how effectively you can engage with future challenges. Much like a well-led team in any organisation, the Scotland team doesn't have the luxury of dwelling on disappointment. They must look ahead and prepare for their next challenge, and that was certainly a focus of the post-match interviews. In leadership, this translates to embracing agility. It's about being ....... At MMS, we are currently establishing offices in Swakopmund, Namibia, the Zambian Copperbelt (two locations), and Kazakhstan to serve the "Stans." This is another exciting phase of our company's growth. With change and expansion, maintaining effective communication becomes more challenging, and we know that we must evolve as rapidly as our footprint grows. As leaders, our role is to hire exceptional talent to join us on this journey and to remain optimistic about our mission, especially when the market affirms our efforts. Today, our management team is gathering for an offsite meeting, a critical moment for us to: > Align on Our Trajectory for H2: We will solidify our strategic direction to ensure that every team member is focused on our shared goals. Understand the Risks: Identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies to safeguard our progress. > Explore New Opportunities: Actively seeking and evaluating new avenues for growth and innovation to stay ahead in the market. > Build Stronger Connections: Spending quality time together to strengthen our team's cohesion and morale before we embark on our next phase of growth. These gatherings are essential as they allow us to pause, reflect, and strategize, ensuring that we continue to move forward with clarity and purpose. What steps are you taking to drive your company forward and make an incremental difference? #CompanyGrowth #Leadership #BusinessExpansion #TeamAlignment #Innovation #digitalmining #internalcommunication #dreamingbigger#Allhands yesterday in Cape Town.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐀 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝: Building Your Signature Presence in 12 Weeks!" is a transformative one-on-one coaching program for mid- to senior-level professionals aiming to elevate their influence and presence. Designed for those ready to tell their story authentically, it helps you craft a unique brand aligned with your vision, amplifying your impact both in person and online. How did I secure my first major corporate training contract with Barloworld Zambia despite living abroad, being flown in for two consecutive years to train their staff across #Zambia in #PresentationSkills. How did I become the only broadcaster in Zambia personally invited by Coca-Cola’s regional offices in Johannesburg,South Africa to cover the global launch of their “Taste the Feeling” campaign in Dubai on a fully funded project? How did I become the first Zambian to sit on the Southern African Toastmasters International Regional Leadership Board as a Division Director, overseeing business in #Zambia and #Malawi? 🎤 Or maybe let's ask how did I step onto the TEDx stage for the first time, presenting a talk in my new home #Germany? 😎 At each step of this journey, I used specific techniques and strategies that I’ve woven into a 12-week #PersonalBranding coaching program crafted exclusively for women. 📧 Email: info@patiencechisanga.com with "You Too Are a Brand" in the subject line for program details and to schedule a discovery call. 📢 We’ve just published the results of the latest UK Heritage Pulse Monitor. This was the second of an updated edition of “Pulse Monitor” questions*, which track the individual and organisational resilience of respondents. ❔ The survey told us that: - Panel members remain confident in their objectives and surviving the next 12 months - Respondents are less likely to say they intend to stay at their current organisation for 12 months or more - Non-leaders are less confident that their organisation can adapt to financial pressures, compared to those on their organisation's leadership team 📊 Read the full results online now https://lnkd.in/gsqVRWUc *These questions were previously asked quarterly, and as of September 2024, are now being put to the panel monthly. A total of 272 panel members responded to at least one question in the October survey. UK Heritage Pulse is operated by Baker Richards on behalf of a consortium of partners and supporters convened by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England

One of the central themes discussed by Dr. Slaton is the impact of key environments such as home, school, neighborhood, and workplace on our actions and learning continuum. These spaces serve as the backdrop against which we develop and tests our leadership skills. Dr. Slaton emphasizes that understanding the influence of these environments is crucial in overcoming personal crises and emerging as a resilient leader. By examining these environments, individuals can identify where personal challenges may have originated and how to transform them into opportunities for growth.
