Day 26 of #LearningUtsav 🌱 Continuing my work with the Raspberry Pi, today I experimented with a moisture sensor. 🌧️ I learned that the sensor offers two types of output: analog and digital. Since the Raspberry Pi only has digital GPIO pins, I went with the digital output for now. I realized that if I wanted to use the analog output, I’d need an additional component—a MCP3008 Analog-to-Digital Converter—to bridge the gap, as the Pi doesn’t have built-in support for analog readings. Since it’s harvesting season and quite a busy time, this was all I could manage to explore today. I have a fun project in my mind. Looking forward to implement it soon with this sensor! 🌿 #IoT #RaspberryPi #MoistureSensor #EdgeComputing #LearningUtsav #LUD26

#Raspberry_pi_tips 🍓 By connecting the motor to an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and powering it with a compatible battery, you can use the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi to send PWM signals for speed control. With libraries like RPi.GPIO or pigpio, you can easily adjust the PWM duty cycle to control how fast the motor spins. A simple and effective way to integrate brushless motors into your Raspberry Pi projects! 💡 #RaspberryPi #BrushlessMotor #PWM #IoT #EmbeddedSystems

How do you supply power to agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) sensors that are scattered all over a landscape? Researchers at the Tennessee Technological University's Shipley Research Farm two-acre test network linked four sensor packs. Each included a Microchip microcontroller, a LoRa network integrated circuit, a 1 millifarad capacitor that stored power for transmission bursts, and two soil sensors—one for moisture and one for temperature. Combined, the trial’s four sensor modules required 0.8 watts. Read the article: https://mchp.us/3xOizkM. IEEE #IoT #Agricultural #MCUs #LoRa

IoT hardware engineers always want to have some kind of "generic board". In my old company, we have what is called as generic stack. It basically holds the main MCU and various interfaces to then attached to some sensor board to become a single SKU ready-to-deploy device. Really effective approach! If you are working on this kind of board, considering adding RAKwireless RAK1920 Sensor Module to your generic board might make sense. Imagine you have a board that allows you to have compatibility with MikroElektronika Mikrobus, Seeed Studio Groove, SparkFun Electronics Qwiic and Adafruit Industries Stemma connectors. You can virtually have any kind of sensors you want. This is interfaced to WisBlock Baseboard via Wisconnector 👍 Having Wisconnector in your "generic board" makes your board compatible to hundreds and thousands of sensors 🚀 #iot #sensors #wisblock #rak #rakwireless

Object Counter Using IC CD4026: A Simple Yet Effective Solution In my latest project, I’ve built a digital object counter using the versatile CD4026 Decade Counter IC. This simple yet powerful circuit allows real-time counting of objects passing through a sensor, displaying the count on a 7-segment display. This project not only reinforces the basic principles of digital electronics but also showcases the practical applications of counters in real-world scenarios. It’s a great example of how simple components can be combined to create a highly functional system! Electronics #IoT #Automation #CD4026 #ObjectCounter #Engineering #TechInnovation

What a stellarly inclusive and transparently accessible analogy in easily accessible terms we can all understand! A enjoyable and instructive read to assist the less tech-savvy amongst us who don't often get the opportunity to appreciate the behind the scenes hustling going on in the company to promote our tech because we're blinded by the science of other more scholarly releases that we can barely understand at layman level. The tech that Weebit Nano Ltd has to offer is continuing to steadily positioning itself as a (if not *the*) firstmover disruptive tech to fill the evolutionary void of the predecessor tech of Flash which is reaching its swansong days and not keeping up with the usecases being rapidly developed requiring far smaller geometries such as IoT wearables. *HOT TIP - WATCH THAT ZUCKERBERG / RAYBAN SPACE snowball* The arguably failed MRAM replacement attempt which appears to have valiantly given it its best shot, but has had its best day and, I would suggest, is rapidly being left behind in favour of exploring the emerging ReRAM NVM alternatives of which *Weebit Nano Ltd* continues to stand out, head and shoulders, above the crowd of what are increasingly becoming also-rans. This is a great article, a *Zinger* of an article, if I may, and please kindly pardon the pun, Lilach Zinger , but it was irresistably unavoidable because you wrote it so beautifully well in such an accessible fashion for those investors who identify the value in their investment in Weebit Nano Ltd, but that assessment exists on an intuitive level because the fact remains that very few ASX investing supporters of the Company would have the necessary tech knowledge, acumen or background to fully understand a more scholarly detailed explanation of the usecases and flexibilty of integration that Weebit Nano's ReRAM is positioned to capitalise on. Great team you've assembled at WeeBiT Nano, Coby Hanoch - Kudos to yourself, Dadi Perlmutter and the WBT team et al in continuing to keep calm and carry on in such harrowing domestic geopolitical circumstances to tirelessly showcase and promote what your long term holder investors already have faith in seeing through to where we believe you're headed since the earliest of Radar Iron days in this developing story.
In a new article, our Director of IDM and Foundry Business Lilach Zinger gives the basics on #BCD technology – including why it’s like a Swiss Army knife, integrating multiple tools in a single package! She also explains why Weebit Nano Ltd #ReRAM is the #NVM of choice for this versatile technology, and how it can be easily integrated into BCD process without affecting the other tools. If you’re creating a mixed-signal and/or high-voltage design for an application in consumer, #industrial, #automotive, or #IoT, learn why you should consider ReRAM by reading the article – https://lnkd.in/dk75v2mp for #semiconductors #RRAM #embedded
