The role of a teacher, especially an Anganwadi teacher, is crucial in shaping a child's future. Aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Reliance Foundation is focusing on innovative approaches that helps building capacity of Anganwadi teachers. This approach emphasises on play-based learning, ensuring that classrooms are vibrant, engaging, and full of joy. 🎉 Key highlights of this initiative include: ✅ Focus on free play with designated learning corners to foster exploration and discovery. ✅ Language and cognitive development activities linked to Foundational Literacy and Numeracy for seamless transitions to primary education. ✅ Empowering Anganwadi Workers through hands-on training sessions to boost their confidence and teaching skills. ✅ Simple, easily implementable activities tailored for the unique settings of Anganwadis. ✅ Provision of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) like storybooks and manipulatives to inspire creativity and resourcefulness.
