Why is Germany lagging behind? Building trust in artificial intelligence can take time. Nevertheless, AI is used in many areas, whether for generating ideas in marketing or for automating entire processes in retail. Johan van Hemert from REMIRA believes that implementing AI will still take some time – especially in Germany. Countries in Scandinavia or the USA are quicker to introduce complete KI-driven automation. This is also due to the fact that you simply have to believe the data that an AI outputs, says van Hemert. Processes that are carried out by humans are easier to explain. The processes behind an AI and the data it works with must therefore also be explained in detail to the customer.
