“Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships”, Michael Jordan said once. 🏀🏆 The quote of the greatest basketball player of all time was mentioned by an organization leader at last week’s Information Security and Protection & Resilience conference in Barcelona. And I’m sure it echoed in many of my colleagues’ minds. We see it during our day-to-day work, felt it during the crisis of the past years, and it will always continue to impact us. At the heart of our accomplishments lies not only the expertise of each of our team members and our robust standards and procedures, but more importantly the strength of our bond and the synergy in our collaboration. Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to come together with colleagues from around the globe in the vibrant city of Antoni Gaudí's city for the annual conference organized by Allianz Technology for the experts in Protection & Resilience. The event served as the perfect platform to exchange ideas, share projects, discuss expectations, and set targets. 💼 Above all, it brought us all together, as Allianz Services experts from all around the world connected with their peers in Allianz Technology in a context that was both formal during the engaging conference sessions and informal during the many networking opportunities we had. 🌎 This included activities such as exploring less-known paths of the city, jogging in the early hours of the morning for a fresh start, visiting main street attractions, and enjoying delicious Mediterranean dishes. Acknowledging best practices and leveraging innovative concepts could be part of the drive of moving further, but the real fuel of a successful organization is definitely teamwork.
