Work-Life Balance Is a Myth—Here’s What Works Instead For years, I chased the elusive “work-life balance.” Spoiler: it doesn’t exist. What does exist, though, is prioritization. Some days, my career takes center stage—calls, meetings, deadlines. Other days, it’s about family, friends, or just me. Balance isn’t about splitting time equally. It’s about showing up where you’re needed most, unapologetically. And when you accept that, life becomes a lot less stressful. #newsreach #worklifebalance #work #motivation #entrepreneur #womenentrepreneur

#worklifebalance In a recent session with some aspiring entrepreneurs, someone asked me about managing work-life balance. This question always makes me think about how the newer generation gets caught up in these terms. Does it really exist? To me, work-life balance is what you make of it, and it means different things at different stages of life. There are days when my family needs me, and they take priority. On other days, my business demands more attention. I can’t always stick to a strict schedule and say I won’t work beyond 6:30. We do what needs to be done. When my child is sick, I spend sleepless nights caring for them. Similarly, if a deadline is approaching, I’ll work late into the night or even on weekends to get it done. And of course, I take time out to meet friends and catch a movie. It's all about prioritizing I feel I see the term as a bit of a buzzword. What do you think? What does work-life balance mean to you? #entreprenuerlife #prioritizing

Is work-life balance as an entrepreneur just a myth? As a founder, I've always heard traditional 'work-life balance' is a bit of a myth for us entrepreneurs. But here’s what it means for me > I get to freely choose when I work, how much I work and who I work with. > I honestly wake up excited to build my dream, I don’t hate Mondays. > I always try to integrate work and life, not separate the two. > I see work as a means to bring me freedom to live my life. > I leave my table at 5pm sharp on most days. My 'balance' looks like working 24/7 some months, then leaving for a 3-month vacation. It's not conventional, but it's mine. What does your ideal work-life balance look like? PS. Hi - I’m Taylor and I help founders build their dream team without breaking their wallets.

Tips on balancing work and personal life… Finding a balance between work and personal life can be challenging. As a Virtual Assistant, I've learned a few strategies that can help create harmony between our professional and personal lives: 1. Schedule Time for Fun: Just like you schedule time to complete tasks, do the same for things you enjoy doing. You need to be away from your job to find balance between your work and home life. 2. Leave Work at Work: This is something that many of us struggle with, but you need to separate work and life to be able to find a real balance. 3. Schedule Breaks: Short breaks throughout the day can boost productivity and help clear your mind. Use this time to recharge. What strategies do you use to maintain your work-life balance? #SmallBusiness #WorkLifeBalance #Entrepreneurship #Wellbeing #VirtualAssistance
