There is no growth that comes without learning. I also understand that there are many ways of passing knowledge and skills from one person to another. When I joined Davis & Shirtliff, I had scanty knowledge of pumps and most of it was theoretically correct but my mentors and especially the field technicians could confirm otherwise. I had read about the eye of the impeller and grasped some hydraulic formulas, from campus, that I believed helped me convince the interview panelists, not once but twice, to consider my candidature for in-depth training on pumps. The opportunity was granted. Little did I know that later on I could work with pump designers and manufacturers. The relationship has contributed to wider development of pumps by Pedrollo S.p.A. At Pedrollo Academy, one is equipped with hands-on skills, soft skills and empowered to acquire more knowledge about pumps while interacting with the final products in the field and making reference or consulting with the global team. Did you know that Davis & Shirtliff offers training on water and energy related solutions, free if charge, to clients and staff across our region?

**Industrial Visit at GRD Industrial Ltd – A Step Towards Bridging Academia and Industry** In an ever-evolving industrial landscape, practical exposure plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of engineering professionals. AGC's Mechanical Engineering students had the invaluable opportunity to visit GRD Industrial Ltd, Amritsar where they were immersed in the real-world application of manufacturing and welding techniques. The visit was designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of industrial workflows, cutting-edge machinery, and the best practices that drive efficiency and innovation in the manufacturing sector. Dr. Gaurav Tejpal, Principal AGC, emphasized that such industrial visits are crucial for honing the skills needed to thrive in a competitive professional environment, ensuring that students not only excel in theoretical knowledge but also develop a comprehensive understanding of industry practices and processes. #AGCMechanical #IndustryExposure #FutureEngineers #TechnicalExcellence #IndustrialVisits #ManufacturingInnovation #AmritsarGroupofCollege #Best #College #WeldingTechniques #MechanicalEngineering #LearningInAction #AGCAtGRD #IndustryReady

Over the years I have enjoyed several hobbies, such as soccer, rc car racing, fishing, hunting and I am passionate about cars. As a member of PHI BETA SIGMA INC service organization, I like contributing to worthy causes to improve society. I initially wanted to become an Animal Scientist, to follow in my dad’s footsteps, but later developed a love for machines and mechanical devices, so I re-focused to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering, earning my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of the West Indies, then in 2021, Earning my Masters in Engineering Management from The University of Management and Technology. My career has taken me through many industries to include, Hospitality, Electronic connectors, Propane distribution, Alumina production, Cement production, Attapulgite refining and Chemical processing. As a Maintenance Engineer at Indorama Ventures, I take pleasure in working with this diverse team to solve problems, great and small. I enjoy knowing that what we do, is critical and that great thought is placed into decision making and building on our extensive body of knowledge that ensures our continued success. It is already a part of the culture at PNO to constantly improve, so I look forward to our teams’ continuous improvement efforts. It is my belief, “If you are not moving forward, you will be left behind”. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟𝐟? My favorite way to spend a day off is to tinker with small projects in the garage. Indorama Ventures: Indovinya

Did you know that when APT started we weren't primarily a training provider? Originally we provided mentoring to engineers who often didn't receive much training specific to hydraulics but were required as part of their job to design and manage hydraulic systems and teams. They were often too qualified to receive any acknowledgement for additional training completed so mentoring was an important step that filled this gap. Even after shifting more towards training and providing tradies with the skills they needed to succeed in the various industries that use hydraulics we always wanted to use our expertise to help those that may not have someone more senior to turn to in their roles. After a few years of toying with the idea we are proud to announce the beginning KAPEC. KAPEC is going back to our roots and providing mentoring services and program that runs through everything to do with system design. This is to help those of you working in design develop the processes that complement your experience and skills. You already know what you're doing but we help you get push-button starts every time, troubleshoot complex problems, and give you the confidence you need to excel at what you do. If you want to find out more about KAPEC, the mentoring we offer, of our Introduction To Fluid Power Design course you can follow us over on our founder Kyle Probert's socials where we will be posting about all things KAPEC. https://lnkd.in/gzFw-HdS #HydraulicSystems #MobilePlant #TrainingProgram #Engineering
