Collaboration is the key to unlocking Australia and Denmark's potential in the green transition. 🌏 "A lot of the challenges that we have already addressed in Denmark are actually, at this very moment, areas where Australian partners are wondering what to do – for example, offshore wind." "In this area, Australia has big potential and big ambitions – and Denmark definitely has a lot to share." Last week, Tilde Hellsten from Danish Energy Agency joined a delegation of Danish companies in Australia, led by Danish Industry, State of Green Denmark and The Trade Council of Denmark in Australia & New Zealand. Although the Czech Republic has recently made progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20%, there is still a lack of innovative solutions in the energy efficiency of building. 💡 Donatas Karčiauskas, CEO of Exergio, points out that the success of the Scandinavian models in terms of sustainable building practices and energy efficiency is unattainable without a solid understanding of effective management of energy systems in buildings. The extensive renovations of old buildings only solve one issue without actually optimizing energy consumption in CEE countries. “Focusing on the commercial sector not only improves the sustainability profile of businesses but also positions them as leaders in environmental stewardship within their local communities,” explains Karčiauskas. 🏢 🌱 According to recent studies, efficient energy management could potentially reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30-35%. 📉 🔗 Interested in how exactly this can be achieved? Something I love about the NRN business model is its ability to impact the energy transformation in a way that makes it more equitable for everyone - be that our Customers, Partners or Suppliers.
Today, our CEO Alan Hunter joined the NSW Aboriginal Business Roundtable, participating in an insightful panel discussion on opportunities in procurement, sustainability, and renewable energy. It was a fantastic chance to discuss NRN’s commitment to accessible, sustainable energy solutions and explore new ways to collaborate and drive meaningful impact in partnership with Aboriginal businesses. We were also proud to host a stand and connect with other industry leaders and community partners in the networking hub. This was more than just a conversation—it was a powerful step toward shared goals and deeper understanding of how we can better serve communities together. Thank you to the organisers and all the inspiring participants. We look forward to many more collaborations that contribute to a cleaner, more inclusive energy future for all Huge thanks to Jarin Baigent for MCing the event and to the other Roundtable members Mieka White from EnergyAustralia, Hayden Mancktelow from EnergyCo, Charles Agnew from Sydney Water and David Kirkland from Greater Sydney Parklands.

📣 Exciting news! Veolia partners up with Gradyent to optimise and future-proof its district heating systems! 🏢 🏥 🏪 🏫 🏬 🏭 ✅ I'm excited to share that we have signed an agreement with Veolia Poland, one of the largest #districtheating operators in Poland, to optimise current operations while preparing for future transformation in line with the company’s sustainability objectives. 💻 Starting with the district heating systems of Łódź and Poznań that cover almost 800,000 residents, our partnership will focus on building a solid #digital foundation for a decarbonised future as Veolia introduces more distributed sources into its networks. 🌍 Veolia, one of the largest players in district heating in Europe, and also operating the largest district heating network (Warsaw), has set clear ambitions to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. #energyefficiency is considered a priority while further #decarbonisation of production continues. The #digitaltwin is seen as a key enabler to manage and optimise these increasingly complex heating systems end to end. 🎯 I am personally proud that after a thorough process of researching our solution, revisiting Veolia’s existing solutions, visiting references such as Helen and further scanning the market, Veolia concluded partnering with Gradyent is the best choice for #upgradingthegrid and to future proof their systems. Special thanks for your trust and support Marek Froehlich, Michał Leśko, Marcin Orłowski, Luiz Hanania, Frederic Faroche, Hervé Huisman, Karol Jasiński, Piotr Niedzielski. https://lnkd.in/eWwQhrSu
