Reflecting on my participation in the WMF - We Make Future Conference on June 14 in Bologna 🌍, I had the incredible opportunity to delve deep into the intersections of artificial intelligence, consciousness, and the cosmos. I thank our moderator, Pierluigi Argoneto, for the warm introduction and for facilitating an engaging session. We explored the potential of artificial consciousness, discussed its ethical implications, and pondered how it could revolutionize our lives on Earth and our endeavors in space. In my speech, I examined the concept of artificial consciousness and its potential to surpass AGI. We discussed the importance of not just developing intelligence, but also nurturing creativity and understanding emotions, which are crucial for the next generation of AI. My team and I are committed to advancing research in this area, and we are collaborating with Stanford and Middlesex University to integrate psycholinguistics and emotional recognition into AI models. The discussions emphasized our collective future, showcasing how merging technology with human creativity can lead to unprecedented advancements. I’m excited to continue these conversations and explore the limitless possibilities ahead! #WMF2024 #WeMakeFuture #Evolwe #KosmosFoundation #CosmosCity #AliyaGrig Aliya Grig

New rebrand project for Faculty! One of my favorite projects ever at Koto. For more than ten years Faculty has specialized in applied AI, creating impactful solutions with measurable results. From optimizing the UK’s response to the pandemic to training AI to detect and remove extremist propaganda online, Faculty doesn’t just talk about AI—they develop tools for clients to utilize in their decision-making, bringing the frontier of AI tools to real-life frontlines. We developed a comprehensive brand, from strategy and visual identity to motion systems and digital development, that bridges innovation with heritage. The motion language, rooted in balanced composition rules, uses color, light, and dynamic, rippling movements to represent the sophisticated AI powering Faculty’s solutions. As usual, a big thanks to the team! Full case study → https://lnkd.in/ex-pa-65
Faculty: the London-based team behind some of the most transformative Applied AI projects of the past decade. From crisis response systems to clean energy innovation, they turn cutting-edge AI into real-world solutions. To match their influence, we crafted a brand that captures their pioneering legacy and bold vision for the future – bridging innovation, heritage, and their on-the-ground impact on the frontlines of the world.

Excited to share our research paper, 'Symbiotic Use of Digital Twin, Simulation and Design Thinking Approach for Resilient Enterprise.' In this work, we explore how the integration of digital twin, simulation and design thinking can drive innovation and resilience in enterprises, enabling them to adapt to dynamic challenges effectively. Proud to have co-authored this effort, contributing to shaping resilient organizations of the future!
Social, digital and environmental disruptions are pushing enterprises toward a position where they need to plan more effectively to build sustainable resilience across the system. At the 2023 Winter Simulation Conference, our researchers, Souvik Barat, PhD, Dr. Ravi Mahamuni, Reshma Korabu, Himabindu Thogaru and Sylvan Lobo, presented a symbiotic approach that blends human-focused problem-solving methods, like service design and design thinking, with #DigitalTwin technology, advanced modeling, and simulation. This creates a risk-free environment for business experiments, encouraging creativity while maintaining accuracy and thorough analysis. Know More- bit.ly/41wgG8B #AI #Research #Design
