Does the company mission make a difference to you as an employee? What about the industry they work in, or the impact the company has? 🤔 For example… I have been lucky enough to work in different industries throughout my career. 1️⃣ Professional Services - HR. 2️⃣ Professional Services - Legal 3️⃣ Nuclear Industry 4️⃣ Medical Devices / healthcare 5️⃣ Recruitment Agency Did I enjoy one industry over another? Well, in all honesty no - I found them all fascinating in different ways as I saw the impact that the company had, whether that be to individuals, businesss etc. ☺️ I can’t deny that working for the healthcare company was great - only because they saved lives through early detection of breast cancers, cervical cancers etc and we all know someone who’s been affected by these, so there was an extra ‘element’ if you like, of being proud of where I worked. ❤️ It’s not to say that working in those other industries didn’t get me equally excited or proud, they’re all fascinating in different ways and all made an impact in one way or another. ☺️ I’m keen to hear your thoughts! ⬇️ Do you think it’s important to work for a company that you can resonate with? Or that you’re proud of working for? Or would you take pride in your work regardless? Let me know 👌 #company #ethos #proudemployee

🏦 💸 What if you and I rob a bank, for instance? If we get caught and serve 10 years in prison, we likely aren’t going to try that again because we learned through consequences that it was not worth the risk. 🚨 🧠 Psychopaths with damaged amygdalas are unable to determine that they should not rob that bank again as their brain was not able to condition them. This 📒 ✍ learning technique is used to determine that the amygdala is responsible for behavior, regulation is similar to operant conditioning. A damaged hippocampus does not necessarily allow someone to remember how a situation made them feel. 🗡 Reactive murderers are people who commit acts of violence as a result of rage or a reaction that occurs when they are emotionally upset. Reactive murderers show little to no activity in the prefrontal cortex, some activity in the temporal lobes, and normal to high activity in the occipital cortex (responsible for vision) Proactive murderers are the opposite; they are controlled, and plan violence to achieve a desired goal . Their brain scans, or PETs, are also very different This makes sense, the impulsive killers cannot think about what they are doing and that it might be wrong, an example of short-term thinking. 🍆💊#Chemsex: you, me, them, EVERYBODY. Yep, we’ve probably all had sex under the influence of drugs, probably alcohol (probably the worst drug for sex). The term defines substances used to facilitate, enhance, or extend (not just Viagra) the sexual experience. From the sensual, the penetrative and the orgasmic aspects of sex, depending on your preferences, different drugs might offer a variety of functions. Drugs vary in not only how good they are at enhancing sex but also their risks. Drugs can impact on the choices we make, the ability of a person to communicate their consent, they can make sex riskier and leave a person vulnerable to assault. Staying Safe ain’t embarrassed to talk about sex. From dosing, oral to anal, lubrication, penetration and the risks of mixing different substances, we share knowledge that can help to keep your students safe. 🧑🎓👉 https://lnkd.in/ePqiR6Ax

To feed up the discussion if Ukrainian prison treatment of MOUD is outdated and far behind contemporary, please see the last data from the US prison system MOUD evaluation. "After merging the sample with county data, 927 jails were included in analysis, representative of 3157 jails nationally after weighting; most were from nonmetropolitan counties (1756 jails) and had contracted health care services (1886 jails); fewer than half of these jails (1383 jails) offered MOUD to at least some individuals, and 405 jails (12.8% 95% CI, 10.7% to 14.9%) offered MOUD to anyone with an OUD. Jails located in counties with lower social vulnerability …. and shorter mean distances to the nearest facility providing MOUD …. were more likely to offer MOUD."
