In 1954, Maurice Joseph Micklewhite was panicking in Leicester Square. He was in a phone box speaking to his agent who had just told him he needed to choose a stage name. Right there and then. Casting about, Maurice quickly landed on the answer: Michael Caine. Maurice did pretty well after that. And we like to think we’ll do alright too, especially as we spent a little more time on our new name: Restore Information Management. But why have we got a new name? Because our Records Management business and our Digital business were working closer and closer together already. Their collaboration was providing our customers with a hybrid answer to their information management problem. Rather than encouraging them to stick 100% with paper records, or convert 100% to digital files, we were helping them find a more pragmatic, cost-effective alternative. And with more and more customers adopting a hybrid approach, it made sense to take our two amazing teams and combine them into one super team. Like two Power Rangers, only without the line of complicated toys. Yet. We may not end up quite as famous as the esteemed Michael Caine. But our new name is one you can rely on to solve your Information Management problems. And we promise not to blow your doors off.
