Can We Trust Our Gut? When interviewed about a career making big decisions, I recently heard a prominent business leader say, full of pride and confidence: “I just go with my gut. It always comes through for me.” Such a leader may think of themselves as confident and decisive; someone who can size up a situation immediately and make the call, without looking back. Moving on…see my post for the full narrative. Cheers, Jeff Bell. #leadership #strategy #change #leadershpdevelopment

#BusinessVision is not just about defining goals and strategizing. It’s about: - Cultivating #empathy - Fostering #resilience - Embracing change - Building #trust When I started leading Teams and Business Division years ago, it was about sharing the wisdom I was gaining. It's also about transforming myself into a more disciplined leader and solidifying good habits. One client recently told me: "Your vision drove us to achieve what we didn't even realize was possible." This, for me, is what #Business #Vision truly is. Not just about profit margins Not just about market share Not just about competitive advantage Not just about accolades But also about the real impact on people, the team, and the shared purpose. When people start recognizing your leadership for your vision – that is the true essence of a Leader. What does #BusinessVision mean to you in your role? #Leadership #VisionaryThinking

Strategic thinking ensures that our actions are purposeful and lead to sustainable success. ✨ Qualities of a great CEO The well documented qualities of a great CEO include foresight for future planning, adaptability to changing circumstances, reliability to maintain trust, teamwork for effective decision-making, and building strong relationships. What is not as well documented is what I believe is the secret sauce to being a fantastic leader - the ability to balance heart and head and to do all the CEO stuff your own way....authentically. So often I hear leaders tell me the theory around the leader that they want to be but there is a gap between the dream and reality - it is just not coming together. If you have got the theory down pat and feel you need to harness some more of you into your leadership and create your own unique CEO style, I would love to hear from you.... 👉 https://lnkd.in/gpYhMJPW #businessgrowth #businesstransformation #leadership #ceocoach #businessplanning #strategicgrowth #businessmentor

If you want to be a good leader, be someone that you would want to follow. That doesn't mean being wildly successful and never getting any sleep. Just be kind, be empathetic, be a good listener, help your staff grow & improve, and be fair. If you can stick to that, you'll lead your teams and your business to great places. Consistency is an understated superpower. #Leadership #Growth #ChangeManagement

To be successful, a leader needs to understand what truly motivates their people—what makes them think, feel, and act. Effective motivation often goes beyond monetary rewards; it taps into intrinsic drivers such as purpose, recognition, growth opportunities, and a sense of belonging. By getting to know their team members on a personal level, recognizing their unique strengths and aspirations, and aligning their roles with their passions, leaders can inspire genuine engagement and commitment. Balance in Leadership I just finished reading The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin, and I wanted to share some thoughts. This book highlights the importance of balance in leadership. Some key lessons include: • Extreme Ownership vs. Delegation: Take responsibility, but trust your team. • Closeness vs. Distance: Support your team without losing objectivity. • Disciplined but not Rigid: Flexibility fosters creativity. • Decisive but not Hasty: Reflect before acting. Effective leadership is about finding the right balance. How do you balance these aspects in your leadership? #Leadership #PersonalDevelopment #Balance #TheDichotomyOfLeadership
