𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄? 🤔 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝟴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. How can we make power electronics good for people and the planet? I’ve been thinking about the R’s of circularity and put some thoughts together for you to check out. It’s a tricky subject and one of the cornerstones seems to be the ability to remove components and raw materials from circuit boards at end of life. Otherwise we’re stuck in a linear cycle; repair and re-use only extends the inevitable! That said, there’s so much low hanging fruit when it comes to re-use, repair and recycle in power electronics.
