🌍 Exciting Update: Leveling Up the Role as an SDG Advocate. Thrilled to share a significant step forward in my journey as an SDG Advocate! Recently, with UN SDSN Youth - Nigeria , we dove into Leadership Development and Governance, Grant Application and Proposal Writing. The session on Leadership Development and Governance, led by the esteemed Catherine Busari from Leap Africa, provided profound insights into effective leadership strategies and the critical role of governance in achieving sustainable development. Through her expertise, we explored Leap Africa's ten perspectives on leadership, the six leadership styles (GOLEMAN), and the art of engaging with others. This enlightening experience has inspired me to lead with purpose, integrity, and a deep understanding of the nuances of governance. Equally invaluable was the session on Grant Application and Proposal Writing, expertly facilitated by Dr. Charles Nwishienyi (CIBE, mMBA). Learning the intricacies of crafting compelling proposals, understanding the nuances of grant applications, and mastering effective research strategies have empowered me to secure vital resources for impactful projects advancing the SDGs. This enriching experience with esteemed professionals has further fueled my commitment to effecting positive change as an SDG Advocate.
