This is Jacqui, the Support Services Coordinator at Girikon's Client Organisation: Council of Single Mothers and Their Children (CSMC). Jacqui and her team provide single mothers with the specialist support and information that CSMC is known for. Now Jacqui is speaking out and asking for your help. CSMC's Support Line Workers say they have never had as much unmet demand as now, and the need has never been more acute. The need for support and information has always been high, but demand has skyrocketed due to the cost-of-living crisis. Single mothers who call CSMC's Support Line need help now, but the sheer volume of calls means that many are having to leave messages and wait for a callback.
