Congratulations to the #kansascitychiefs for their #SuperBowl victory! They’ve shown that they can win on the football field, but who would come out on top if the Super Bowl was based on things that truly matter most to families and individuals – their health, safety, inclusivity, access to opportunities, and more? We looked at #KansasCity, #SanFrancisco and the other 30 NFL cities’ performance on the US Social Progress Map, the most comprehensive measure of how well a city delivers sustainable and inclusive growth to their communities. If cities win by how well they do on the US Social Progress Map, Kansas City wouldn’t even make the playoffs. Instead, the Super Bowl would feature a showdown between #Seattle and #Boston. Boston comes out strong in providing basic needs like #safety, #housing, and water and sanitation. But they are no match for the victorious Seattle which dominates across the other metrics crucial for city success, including #education, information and communications, #health, environmental quality, inclusion, and #rights. Subscribers to the US Social Progress Map gain insight not only into how cities are performing but can also drill down to see how the neighborhoods surrounding the #NFL stadiums stack up. It provides a comparable analysis of 50+ social progress measures across the nation's 500 largest cities and their 32,000 neighborhoods, allowing us to really understand what it means win. Thanks to a fantastic team here in New York, we’re set for a soft opening on November 15th. I’ll be flying to NYC on November 13th and would love to see you at 298 5th Avenue, Manhattan. And yes, we still have a few seats left for our final funding round. Thank you for being part of this journey!
