Reverse Logistics Association’s Post

HURRICANE HELENE: TEN DAYS IN - World Vision is Responding Across Multiple States Ten days after Hurricane Helene made landfall in the U.S. as the second deadliest storm to hit the U.S. this century, World Vision USA response teams are still on the ground working with partners to address the most urgent needs. In North Carolina and other areas, catastrophic flooding has destroyed many roads and bridges, cutting off communities without basic supplies like food and clean water. Communication has also been very challenging for the region, as many cell towers are down. Clean water is in high demand due to damage to local water towers, which may take weeks to repair. Communities like Adren, NC, are in desperate need of generators, cell chargers, and basic supplies to support their recovery. Thank you Reverse Logistics Association for helping get the word out and creating opportunity for more people and companies to assist in the response.

The RLA is proud of the non-profit organization who are members of the RLA and do great work in so many communities. We encourage the 5,000 plus companies in the RLA community to work through our non-profit members like World Vision to help the hurricane relief activities.
