I can't tell you how much I used to dread "forced fun." Losing hours of my life with no ROI with the additional pressure of needing to cajole my team into participating. Insult on top of injury. Now we get to do things differently. "Team building" always needs a business reason so participants can understand why they are being asked to take time away from the work they need to get done and invest it into time with their colleagues. This business reason informs the tone and content of our time together and participants always get a say in how that time is spent. Not everyone will agree on what constitutes "fun," and so a skilled designer and facilitator are needed to balance the needs and wants for the activities. It takes a lot of strategic thought and preparation, but the outcome is worth it - achieving a business objective AND coming out a more connected team. As a leader, you should expect both from your investment. hashtag #teambuilding #roi #sessiondesign #JustSayNoToForcedFun
🖐️How many of us have had to attend and participate in volun-told team building activities? 🖐️How many of these team building activities have felt shoehorned into summer or end of year celebrations? We hate "forced fun" as much as you do which is why we do team building differently. We align the effort with business objectives AND leave space for team members to have actual fun - their way. Here's how: - Identify the unique needs and dynamics of the team. - Assess what what the team needs to “level up” on development or performance - Communicate “what’s in it for them” by having team members help plan objectives for a successful team building activity. Ready for a team building event that will garner rave reviews instead of groans and eye rolls? Get in touch with us here!

Happy Saturday! The weekend is finally here. After another busy week, it’s time to shift your focus to what needs attention at home—whether that’s tackling the garage, raking up those fall leaves, or organizing the basement and clearing out what’s no longer needed. But before you dive into your weekend to-do list, take a moment to look back at your week. What are one or two things you accomplished that you can celebrate? Remember, it doesn’t have to be something big to be worth recognizing. Maybe you successfully completed and submitted that report summarizing your team’s performance for the year. Perhaps you had a meaningful conversation with an employee, helping them move forward in their development. Or maybe, for the first time, you spoke up in a team meeting, sharing your insights and perspective. Celebrating progress, no matter how small, is a powerful way to build confidence in your abilities. So as you reflect on the week, ask yourself: What’s one thing you accomplished this week that you can celebrate?

In September, we hosted a live event, "Unstuck & Unstoppable", and I'm so excited to share these highlights with you... We dove into how to manage disruptive thoughts and emotions so you can continue pursuing big goals without holding yourself back. I revealed a 4-step process to detach from outcomes so you can be present and operate at peak performance. I shared how each of us can stay connected to something greater than ourselves, drop our egos, and focus on how to be of service to others. The feedback we received was incredible... And I'm grateful to everyone who attended 🙏. If your team is dealing with high-demand, stressful environments, and/or constant change... And it's affecting productivity, employee satisfaction, and/or retention... I'd be happy to see if I can help your group unlock unshakeable resilience so they can perform at a higher level while boosting mental health and well-being. To learn more... DM me or comment "ready" below, and I'll respond with a few questions to understand your team's unique needs 👇.
