RG Miller | DCCM staff gathered for a true Friendsgiving experience, as peers and teams celebrated with gratitude and learned more about the traditions honored by other cultures from around the world. In American, a full Thanksgiving meal symbolizes abundance, belonging and identity with the traditional meal including turkey, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, bread, and cranberry sauce. What has become a popular annual Thanksgiving tradition, RG Miller’s Friendsgiving celebration provided so much more with beautiful and delicious culinary dishes from places such as Vietnam, India, Mexico, a bit of Mediterranean, and beyond. We are truly grateful for such rich cultures that create our work family, and those that were kind enough to share them with us. #RGMiller #MillerSurvey #DCCM #designdevelopgrow #thanksgiving #thankful #fall #turkey #grateful #happythanksgiving #family #gobbletilyouwobble #turkeyday #thanksgiving2024 #bethankful #grateful #friendsgiving #culture #diversity #gathertogether #turkeyday2024

Get ready for Thanksgiving with these expert hacks from a top chef! Whether you're celebrating the American or Canadian version, these tips will make your holiday easier and more delicious. Discover Thanksgiving's best kept secret in this video! Learn about the history of America's Thanksgiving parade and the differences between American and Canadian Thanksgiving traditions. Get ready to uncover the fascinating story behind this beloved holiday! You know, it’s fascinating how Thanksgiving is celebrated differently in Canada and the U.S. Take Canadian Thanksgiving, for instance. It’s celebrated on the second Monday of October, and there’s a solid reason for that—harvest season. Canada’s northern climate means crops are ready to be gathered earlier in the fall. So, while Americans are still waiting for their turkeys to thaw, Canadians are already diving into their pumpkin pies and turkey dinners! But it goes deeper than just the timing of the harvest. The roots of Canadian Thanksgiving trace back to 1578, when explorer Martin Frobisher threw a feast to celebrate surviving his arduous journey through the Northwest Passage. That’s a whole century earlier than the Pilgrims’ famous meal with the Wampanoag in 1621. So, while both holidays share themes of gratitude, they emerge from distinct historical moments. It’s a reminder of how geography and history shape our traditions, isn’t it?

A recent study by McKinsey found that the average life-span of companies listed in Standard & Poor's 500 was 61 years in 1958. Today, it is less than 18 years, with nearly 50% failing in the first 5 years…jumping to 80% before year 20. Today Property Masters Inc celebrated our 20th year in business (6/14/2004) with a little party @ our HQ!!! 🥳 The rest of the team was there in spirit! There have been many highs and lows, but over the years we have learned how to turn our disappointments into opportunities to improve, and those improvements into wins for our trusted partners & clients. With each year we’ve gotten stronger, smarter, and more determined to surpass the higher goals we set for ourselves. It hasn’t ever been easy, but nothing worth having ever is. 😉 I’m so proud of my amazing team of colleagues and what we’ve built together. Whether you’re at year 1 or been along on the ride for all 20, this celebration belongs to you! To our amazing clients & trusted partners and vendors…THANK YOU doesn’t seem like enough!! We owe this all to you & couldn’t have gotten this far without your support! You all are the real MVPs!!! 🏆 Anyone can swing a hammer, but they won’t succeed at scale and longterm without being made up of a group of people that put the value in the team over the individual. Our culture is second to none, and for that reason… and about a dozen or so others… I have no doubt that we will be celebrating these milestones for years to come! Cheers to 20 years guys! 💚💚💚 #propertymasters #greendiamondservice #construction #sfrturns #shinebrightlikeadiamond #sfrrenovations #reorenovations 💎
Excited to celebrate our 20 year anniversary tomorrow! Our amazing team at headquarters took some time this afternoon to come together and reflect on our incredible journey. At NY Vanilla, we believe in the power of connection, much like the vanilla bean that brings a unique flavor to countless recipes worldwide. Vanilla, cherished globally, has a rich history deeply rooted in community, whether it’s farmers who cultivate it with care, artisans who transform it into culinary masterpieces, or families who share desserts during celebrations. But beyond flavor, vanilla reminds us of the strength found in unity and shared purpose. As we embrace the season of giving, let’s reflect on how we can support our communities: Offer help: Whether it’s volunteering time or providing resources, small acts of kindness make a big difference. Celebrate diversity: Learn about and appreciate the traditions of others, fostering cultural exchange and mutual respect. Build connections: Invest in relationships that nurture trust, understanding, and growth. At the heart of giving lies the profound human need for connection. By giving thoughtfully and building strong communities, we not only improve the lives of others but also enrich our own. This holiday season, let’s all find ways to give back, strengthen our bonds, and create a better future—together. What’s your favorite way to give back during the holidays? Share your thoughts and inspire others in the comments! #communityandgiving #culturalconnections #nyvanilla #seasonofgiving #holidaytraditions #vanillaculture #buildingbonds #bettertogether #holidayreflection #sharedpurpose #strongercommunities #givingback
