A recent Surescripts report tracked the impact of health intelligence sharing across the U.S., finding significant progress year over year in terms of health data exchange and interoperability. This improvement in data sharing increases patient access to care. The study reported that in 2023, electronic processing of #PriorAuthorizations increased by 49%. By processing prior auths electronically, teams can proactively initiate the requests, receive quick responses within their workflows, and reduce delays in care. At Valer, we support health systems by automating their unique prior authorization workflow, helping to improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
