Failures to properly investigate, prosecute, and punish such heinous crimes can send a message to perpetrators that they may evade justice, potentially leading to more incidents of abuse. This type of systemic failure is a serious alarm that should draw the attention of the main stream #Media and #regulatory #bodies. Shining a light on the negligence and lack of strong #legal #recourse can be an important step towards reform. Ensuring there are robust #laws, #policies, and enforcement mechanisms to protect #vulnerable children like #heaven is critical. The absence of appropriate punishments for these crimes not only fails the victims, but also represents a #missed #opportunity to deter would-be offenders. Strengthening the justice system's response is essential to sending a clear message that such abhorrent acts will be met with the full force of the law or #communities will be forced to take #measures on #crminals of such event.
